A year of The Wedding Edit 🕊️

One year ago I took a chance on myself to become a business owner. I was unsure what this past year would look like but I knew I had a vision, I was passionate about it, and I was willing to bet on myself.

From the day I launched The Wedding Edit, it became my full-time job. I wanted to throw myself into it completely, learn from other creators, create as much as I could, and connect with as many people as possible.

It has been an amazing year of growth, learning, taking risks, and realizing how much love I have for this industry.

It’s also been one of the hardest and most unexpected years of my life between navigating Graves’ disease, trying to find myself again, adapting to life events that I never saw coming, and moving through seasons of uncertainty. But looking back, those moments have shaped The Wedding Edit just as much as the exciting ones have.

To each couple who has trusted me to be a part of your wedding day, thank you. Thank you for trusting me to step into such an important and intimate day of your lives. For letting me capture the little, big, and in between moments. Being able to witness your love stories and preserve these memories for you to look back on is something I will never take for granted.

To every vendor that I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside, thank you for welcoming this new service that is wedding content creation into the industry. Thank you for referring me, creating alongside me, and giving me opportunities to grow. The wedding industry is filled with so many talented people and getting to work alongside so many amazing creatives has been one of my favorite parts of building this business.

To all of my future couples, I cannot wait to meet you! Welcoming me to step into your wedding day and capture memories that you can look back on for a lifetime to come truly fills my heart with so much joy.
