you taught us to go outside and listen to the birds, to be still and let the breeze give us goosebumps, to collect feathers and cicada shells, to care for the garden and slow down. i know i will keep learning from you, especially when i’m amongst the trees. miss you dad💚 by @briekane

💫💫💫We have Brienna Kane to thank for bringing Risograph to Super G! 💫💫💫 Not only did she literally bring the machine, she designed Super G’s offerings of Riso classes, private lessons, and printing services. Brie received her BFA in Photography + Film from VCUarts in 2020. Her own art practice uses unconventional materials and analogue processes (hello, Riso!) to explore preservation, storytelling, and the influence photographs have on recollection. She was recently an artist in residence at Soaring Gardens in rural Pennsylvania, where she experimented with her tabletop letterpress printer and created floral cyanotypes from the surrounding gardens. 1–classic headshot by @lindsaymetivier 2–teaching with hands in action! 3–original screen print by @briekane available @peel_gallery by @briekane
