Hi! I’m Molly, a portrait photographer in the triangle. I am a social worker by trade and have been a therapist for 6 years. I’ve been taking photographs professionally for 10. I’m available for hire for headshots and individual/couples/family portraits. I really enjoy getting to capture people as they’d like to be seen.

I was there when we opened the doors today for the first time to the public, and I loved seeing it with fresh eyes. The amount of work and prep our teams invested to bring life to this space. From more tactile activations to sleek and clean sculptures, the space a has a bit for everyone. Please go check it out, and I’m still so grateful for everyone who helped from the those that painted rises to those who sculpted baubles. I can’t wait to see the space evolve. Now, back to sleep I go. My body and mind are moosh. (Shout out to @traceywnewsome for walking me through the lead process, @lizfelter for ensuring I had local support, @ccandacemc for collaboration, and the rest of everyone for rolling up their sleeves and helping display)

When people say creatives are magic makers, I worry that the amount of labor, grit, and energy it takes to do what we do gets somehow lost. They def make it look like magic, but I saw the blood, sweat and tears it takes. I love working with others: collaborating, learning, getting inspired, and just celebrating moments of wow. I was so fortunate to have a group of artists come support our new store relocation in New Orleans. It’s sort of fitting yesterday was Thanksgiving, because I’ve been so grateful for their talent. Also, I’m so grateful for our home team for killing the craft on prep. I’m just in awe of how much time and work everyone invested. I’ll never be able to express that clearly.

I am beyond grateful for this experience and the talented group of humans that traveled to support this relocation. This was the last new store opening for the south region of the year and we went out with a bang!! I’m very thankful for this opportunity. My cup is full with gratitude 🙏🏽

The @thirdfridaydurham passport was a success! @downtowndurham distributed nearly 100 passports to the community in just a few hours and it was so fun to see familiar faces around town collecting stamps! It’s also rare that I get to partake in the passport myself and I enjoyed joining in on @fusiongallerync’s pendant making workshop for their grand opening. Very grateful!

You’ll still be able to collect stamps every Third Friday so make sure you come out to the next one and claim your prizes from @downtowndurham at the plaza! There are spendabull gift cards on the line 👀
