👁️🧶 Spooky Fall? Cozy Fall? We’ve got it all! Boston’s broadest vendor mix is returning to Brighton Center, & things are getting a little weird around here 😱

🍂 The foliage is in full swing & sweater weather is descending upon us. Some of our creepiest vendors have crawled out of the woodwork, bringing a little extra October magic to the Bazaar. You never know what might go bump in the booth! 🫣

🪲🗝️ We’re a cabinet of curiosities, only much, much bigger. A heartfelt thank you to Boston Landing, Lola Grace Events, NB Fitness Club and American Flatbread Brighton who all came together to invest in our young athletes and young people throughout Allston-Brighton. ❤️

This support goes far beyond helping with uniforms, equipment, transportation, clinics, tournament fees and other costs that can sometimes be a barrier for families.

It sends an even more important message to our young people: We see you. You matter. Your hard work matters. And your community believes in you.

We are also incredibly proud to see Randolph Abraham recognized for the extraordinary impact he has made at Brighton High School and throughout the community.

Randolph is a Brighton High graduate who came back to the Boston Public Schools and his community that helped shape him and has spent years coaching, mentoring, advocating for and showing up for the next generation of Brighton students. His commitment has never been simply about wins and losses. He sees the young person behind the athlete and works tirelessly to make sure they have opportunities, support and people in their corner.

Sports can provide young people with so much more than competition. They create friendships, confidence, discipline, leadership, trusted mentors and, perhaps most importantly, a place to belong.

That is why investments like this matter so much.

Thank you, Boston Landing, for recognizing that supporting youth is a shared community responsibility and for helping us continue to build a stronger network around our young people.

And thank you, Randolph, for quietly making that investment in our kids every single day. We are so proud to know you, support you and celebrate all that you have done for generations of Brighton students.

We look forward to continuing this work together—creating opportunities today that can have a lasting impact for years to come. ❤️

ROAD CLOSURES AND PARKING FOR SEPTEMBER 27, 2026 🚧

Please plan ahead for Sunday, September 27, as Allston-Brighton welcomes two great community traditions — the Brian Honan 5K Road Race and the Allston-Brighton Parade!

🏃 BRIAN HONAN 5K ROAD RACE
Start Time: 12:00 PM
The race will take place immediately before the parade and is expected to finish ahead of the parade start.

🎉 ALLSTON-BRIGHTON PARADE
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Both events will impact traffic and parking throughout the neighborhood, so residents, businesses and visitors should plan accordingly.

🚨 IMPORTANT PARKING NOTICE
All parked vehicles must be removed from Cambridge Street and Washington Street BEFORE 7:45 AM on Sunday, September 27.

TOWING WILL BEGIN AT 7:45 AM.

Additional parking restrictions will be in place along the event routes, including the westbound lanes of Brighton Avenue from Packard’s Corner to Union Square, Allston.

🚧 STREETS IMPACTED INCLUDE:
• Westbound lanes of Brighton Avenue
• Cambridge Street from Jackson Mann Community Center to BMC
• Washington Street to Oak Square YMCA

Please pay close attention to all temporary No Parking signs posted along the routes and move vehicles ahead of time.

Road closures related to the parade are expected from approximately 11:45 AM–3:00 PM, although parking restrictions, towing and event preparations will begin much earlier in the morning.

Please help us spread the word, especially to neighbors and businesses along Cambridge Street, Washington Street and Brighton Avenue.

Plan ahead. Move your car. Come out and enjoy a great day in Allston-Brighton! 🧡

☔ WEATHER NOTE: Any cancellations due to weather will be announced by the organizations running the Brian Honan 5K and Allston-Brighton Parade on Friday, September 25.
