🦉 Campy, curious & just a little uncanny. October has arrived, & our vendors are looking a little different in the autumn light - perhaps a bit more Bazaar than usual. The weirdest wares await, way far out on the western edge of Boston. Well worth a wander, we think. 🌀 Odd is our area of expertise. Somewhere between the familiar & the fantastical, look a little closer & you’ll find offbeat art & unusual objects, vinyl & vintage, handmade horrors & peculiar possessions! Come for what you seek, then stay for what surprises you. 👉 Sat. + Sun. Oct. 17 & 18, 11am-5pm at the Brighton Elks Lodge in Boston MA (326 Washington St. 02135)! *** FEATURES *** 🎟️ Admission: FREE 🐕 Pets: welcome throughout! 🎶 Vinyl DJ: @leadmine_vinyl 🧱 After, stop by @thebrightonemporium: our store nearby with 60+ more vendors! 406 Western Ave. Boston MA 02135, open 11am-7pm. *** INFO *** 🗓️ Dates: Oct. 17 + 18, 2026 ⏰ Time: 11am-5pm 📍 Address: Lodge Door - 326 Washington St. Pedestrian Gate - 14 Academy Hill Rd. Next: Thursday, October 15th 7-9pm @theallstonabbey with zine-making and crafting activities while picking up food from the @brooklinefarmersmarket ! Support local farmers while enabling sliding scale community-subsidized food during a fun drop-in session of art making at the Allston Abbey! RSVP options on Partiful and Google Forms are available and linked in bio! This work emerged across the last two years from the @abhealthcollab Food Access Committee’s focus area of advocating for a community-led grocery store (food co-op), with the intent to meet the immediate needs for affordable in-season food without the hurdles associated with build-out of infrastructure for grocery retail. Instead, we can try to embed food access into the existing spaces we have already across our community, so that access to local, in-season, affordable produce at times that work is a given, making the Right to Food a reality for more of us. And save the date for this month Wednesday, October 28 for the last of the @brighton.farmers markets this season, back at @funkygrandpastudios next to @exitgalleries (sign ups for that coming soon)! Interested in hosting something like this? Reach out to coordinate more places or times, especially into early November. And fill out the “how can I help” Google form on the website landing page if you want to be engaged in supporting this cooperatively going forward!

Keeping postal services in our neighborhoods 📪 I joined residents, postal workers, and elected officials at the Allston post office rally. I am also standing up for residents who depend on the Fields Corner branch serving 02122. These services matter to seniors, families, and small businesses. Our neighborhoods deserve accessible postal services and clear answers about plans that threaten that access. 👁️🧶 Spooky Fall? Cozy Fall? We’ve got it all! Boston’s broadest vendor mix is returning to Brighton Center, & things are getting a little weird around here 😱 🍂 The foliage is in full swing & sweater weather is descending upon us.
