Even though it’s a drop off this one has a pretty sick hold set and movement! It took quite a fight to figure out the stand start and have the juice to keep my tension doing the crux left hand pocket stab from the low but thanks to @alexwitt ‘s kind chalk donation and beta I was able to make it happen! A vid showing the process on this one as well as 4 other fun V7-V9 on this wall has been uploaded to YT as well

🚨New video just dropped on YouTube🚨 Check out the amazing 29 Palms Rock Rumble Royale. This is an annual bouldering competition combined with conservation efforts. This is also where I had a pretty gnarly moment that led to me shattering my talus. The injury required a massive reconstruction surgery, and I’m still not allowed to walk four months later. This video features @kellar_cam and @zachary.kriethe . Watch it now—link in bio! 🙌 #JoshuaTreeBouldering #ReconstructionJourney #ClimbingLife #Bouldering #InjuryRecovery #ClimbingCommunity #TalusInjury #ClimbingAdventures #ClimbingFamily #ChasingDreams #NeverGiveUp #RockClimbing #Adversity #ClimbingVibes #ClimberLife #ClimbingWorld #climbing #gritiots #rockclimbing #liveclimbrepeat #bouldering #boulderinglife #climb #climbersforchrist #adventure #sportclimbing #type1diabetes #climbing_worldwide @cruxpowerclimbing @chalkcartel @tensionclimbing @thenorthface_climb @evolv_worldwide @shadyrays @brightstoneclimbing taken in Joshua Tree National Park by @brightstoneclimbing

@hp40_local on the spot 🙌🖤
@am_traylor and Andrew with the motivation👊🖤
Had no option but to #sendit 😎 #forthehomies
Always thankful to tick off a new one at the place that completely formed my climbing style and mindset beginning over 20 years back. No local #indoorgym available then. Only Adam’s homewall/gym #woodville and only then if you had already invested enough time into learning movement nuances combined with body positioning and pure power exhibitions that insisted to be performed as grace on actual rock first and were lucky enough to be noticed by the husband of @leasport1970 and invited into the inner sandstone circle of superhumans. Hp40 will build skills into a climber that are globally applicable. Some of the greatest being a humble patience and a persistent yet mindful use of power. #neverfinished #egodeath

@jonathandeanmurray do you recall way back when a family of skunks broke out into this cave during the #mortalkombat 2 comp circa?… 2002? 🦨💀💩
Freakin place is magical and I love it so!
I do not wish to know a world without #hp40
So many stories that are too wild to fabricate that transpired in this wind- and water-sculpted labyrinth. #whereakidcanbeakid
