Last year, New Year’s Eve, I was out for dinner with my family and we discussed what we wanted to achieve this coming year. And like always, weight loss was one of them for me.

After having my 3rd baby I just let myself go. I gave myself excuses that I didn’t have time, and that I’m too stressed because of work, and I cannot sacrifice sleep for working out and the list goes on. I made myself believe that my body will now look like this forever and I cannot change it. I was overwhelmed by all that I was seeing on instagram - the perfect bodies, the 5am workouts, the protein stack gosh it just didn’t fit my lifestyle.

I knew I needed change because every morning when I woke up I was tired, I had ridiculous cravings usually stemmed by work stress, I was in a bad mood and PMS’ing was BAD (ask my husband lol)

1st of January I dove into it right away. I transitioned myself slowly into eating ONLY KETO/CARNIVORE MEALS.

There was no cheating on the weekends, or when I went out. I stuck to it. (I’ll talk about this in detail in my next video)

My workout? Nothing fancy, no gym memberships. I walked on incline for 20-45 minutes with a weighted vest every day in the evening after feeding everyone dinner. That’s what worked for me.

I found the time, I kept it simple, I kept repeating the same thing. I was strict, I was devoted.

This is 6 month transition BTW. I didn’t lose weight or see change for 4 months like noticeable change.

It wasn’t only about weight loss, it was about my mood with my family, it was about my focus at work, it was about my confidence, it was about my energy. I have been able to turn all that around and have made myself feel amazing!

I will talk more about what I ate exactly in my next video! Because IF I CAN DO IT, while being a mom, a wife, cooking, caring for them all, launching businesses and working from home, YOU CAN DO IT TOO!

Don’t let anyone water you down! Your ideas, your goals, your dreams, don’t let anyone tell you they’re too small or they don’t make sense.

I’m a mom of 3 handsome boys, I’ve started 3 businesses from home, I’ve lost 40lbs being on a carnivore diet and sometimes I have days where I doubt my ability to do anything. I overthink it, I ask for approval, I cry thinking I can’t, and I fear. I am influenced into thinking I’m failing.

As a mom, I have guilt and fear of literally any task I want to accomplish. Every time I have started something I have been judged, not supported, not commended. Then the society comes and labels you a failure, or dictates what you’re supposed to do.

I want to tell the women and moms out there, don’t listen. Don’t let family or friends water you down. You can do all the hard things. If I can do it all while taking care of my boys, doing all the chores, and start 3 businesses. You can do it too. I’m not here to influence, I’m here to inspire.

Alhamdulillah so much to celebrate 🥹 our 2nd Umrah together and @kabir_kesaria birthday ahh such a blessed birthday celebration in the Holy Land Makkah! Alhamdulillah

It’s so true when people say it’s an invite from Allah. I realized how much I needed this spiritually! We both may be physically exhausted but we are spiritually recharged!

Now in Madinah visiting our Beloved Prophet (pbuh) Mosque so calm and peaceful here! Taking it all in before we leave!
