I applied my own skillset and knowledge to my new business and saw success right away! Leveraging everything I have been applying to my clients work, I knew i had to do it right from the very beginning! 1. BRAND WAS ON POINT: the colors, the logo, the stickers, thank you cards, tissue paper - everything was A VIBE! 2. WEBSITE FROM DAY 1: I had the website up and ready for orders from day 1, and guess what orders poured in!!! 3. MARKETING DONE RIGHT: I reached out, connected, and negotiated collabs with the right Houston food bloggers so their audience can be my customers. I also posted meta ads using my most viral, liked posts/reels! 4. PACKAGING: I wanted this to be an experience, not just a box of brownies. And let me tell you this was my biggest marketing success! People sharing opening the box and the packaging itself! The results speak for themselves: 8000 followers in 2 months, consistent orders pouring in! If you’re pouring money into marketing without a brand or website that are both attractive and consistent - then you’re just burning your money. I’ve had client tell me horror stories of how they’ve spend thousands of dollars on marketing campaigns and seen little to no result at all. That’s because they have no direction, no positioning, no consistency whatsoever. I ask them - who is your target audience, the guidelines for the ad creatives. The answer usually is ‘I don’t know’ or ‘my nephew made the ad for me’. Your Brand is the essence of your business it not only attracts your target audience but it also builds trust and converts them into buying your product/service. Invest in marketing when you actually have a strong brand and website. That are both cohesive and consistent! Marketing will work and does work only if you have the foundation built out. No one will buy a product or service that is not represented aesthetically and talks directly to your audience. Let’s hop on a call and correct your brand and website before you burn all your money on marketing. #branding #marketing #websitedesign

Claude ai Design vs. ME! 😱🤯 I recently got asked - oh now that ai is here your job is probably easy.. 🧐 people do have the audacity to ask this. Let me break it down, as a brand and designer I have a process which comprises of phases which allows me to understand the client, their goals, their audience etc better. Without doing that we don’t move onto the design phase. I will always choose human processes, human eye, human choices over robots/ai. The distinct design eye that I have built over 12 year of experience cannot be compared to a prompt that generates a design that doesn’t serve any purpose! Brand Designs created for Wildflowers Play Cafe. A thoughtfully designed indoor play space and cafe that brings together a high quality experience for both children and their caregivers. 200+ brands designed nationwide! If you’re serious about growth, attracting the right audience and taking your business where it needs to be then COMMENT THE WORD: ‘WOW’ and let’s chat!! 💬 reel inspo: the OG @kristy.thepinkpony

Seriously though…it’s never been this easier! For a brand/business or individual to grow and standout they need to be authentic, real, strategic and honest! Using ai logos and flyers/designs are being categorized as lazy. If a business is not investing time and money into how their brand looks and does then why would a customer invest in them? However, the ai bandwagon that businesses are jumping onto for creating everything, really does the job for me of sieving serious/invested clients from the non serious/difficult clients. Ask yourself: are ai designs doing justice to the caliber and quality of services and products you are providing? Your customers can tell you’re using ai and scrolling past you! If you’re serious about investing in your brand and website that standout in this crowded ai space, let me tell you it’s never been this easy. So, DM me and let’s CHAT!

Let’s address this. As a designer I’m asked about how AI has affected my business. This might be surprising - NOT AT ALL. It’s more important to invest in your brand now than ever. You can easily stand out in a crowd of people who are using ChatGPT to generate their designs. And my clients understand that. 1. No on trusts a logo/brand/design that was generated in less than 2 minutes. Let me ask you this. Does it represent the quality and caliber of the product or service you provide? I don’t think so. 2. You don’t have a Brand system. A color palette with HEX codes, a mood board, a typography system, brand illustrations, brand patterns - nothing at all. Unfortunately AI uses the same 3 fonts over and over again and every business looks the same. 3. The print shop will not print your logo/design if it’s generated using AI. They need vectors. 4. Who’s your target audience? Who are you selling to? What is your positioning? Oh, did ChatGPT skip that? 5. Let’s say you need to Trademark your logo. Well guess what you can’t. You cannot a trademark/register a logo/brand that is generated since you don’t OWN IT! 6. Yes it will cost you money. More money than you thought. Let’s say you slapped an AI logo everywhere and you started your business. You’re not attracting the right audience, your inventory is sitting, your instagram isn’t growing. No one wants to follow ai slop. You’ve wasted time and money. BOTH. As a business owner, do you really want to appear cheap and fake or do you want to showcase quality and honesty? Your decision. #branddesigner #relatable #chatgpt

HIT A CREATIVE BLOCK? Get moving because we’re going to the Grocery store to be inspired!! I found better branding inspiration in the cereal aisle than on Pinterest. 🛒 Real talk — when everything on your feed starts looking the same, your designs will too. So I closed the apps and went grocery shopping instead. Packaging that fights for your attention in 3 seconds. Color palettes doing heavy lifting. Typography that tells you exactly who a product is for — before you even read the label. That’s a branding masterclass, and it’s free with your milk run. This is Episode 1 of Finding Inspiration Beyond the Screen — a new series where I show you where great design actually lives (spoiler: it’s not on your explore page). Where’s the most unexpected place you’ve spotted good design? Tell me below 👇 brand designer | brand strategist | branding | inspiration | website designer | graphic designer | marketing | website

My design process isn’t magic — it’s method. SEE BELOW ⬇️ Every brand I design starts the same way: with questions! 1️⃣ Discovery — we dig into your story, your clients, and what makes your business different (this is where the real magic lives) 2️⃣ Strategy — I translate that into a creative direction with intention behind every choice 3️⃣ Design — logo, palette, type, and the full identity system built to work everywhere your brand shows up 4️⃣ Launch — you walk away with a brand that finally matches the level you’re operating at WHAT MY CLIENTS LOVE: The support I give even after the project ends! You have any questions? I answer all their questions, send HOW-TO loom videos and hop on calls if needed! The businesses that stand out aren’t the ones with the “prettiest” logos. They’re the ones whose brands were built on strategy first. If you’re a female entrepreneur in the event, hospitality, or salons or creative space and your brand doesn’t feel like you anymore — let’s talk. Book a discovery call through the link in my bio and let’s see what your brand could become. 🤍 Branding | website design | brand design | brand designer | squarespace designer | website designer | discovery call | brand identity | brand marketing | website | designer phase | female entrepreneurs | moms in business
