These photos have been living in my phones photo gallery for over a year now.

I remember when I took these photos. I couldn't believe how beautiful I looked to MYSELF. I was in awe! It was the first time in like 3 years that I had flat ironed my hair. I was on a journey to grow my hair to waist length, and I had finally made it. Such a vain victory, but a victory nonetheless. These pictures mean so much to me because I had stayed true to my goal and it showed me that discipline and consistency is the key to success, in all aspects of life. I had been diligent about my choices and was able to reap the benefit of healthy hair.

I have a NEW personal goal now (nothing to do with hair lol) and these photos are going to serve as a reminder that if I stay dedicated, disciplined, and consistent to my new goals that in time, I will reap the benefits of my labor. It also reminds me that good things come with TIME. This was not an overnight process for me. But it was definitely worth the wait. 🥰

I hope this encourages someone to set an outrageous goal and truly dedicate their Time, Efforts, and Discipline to seeing it through. 😊

Happy Solar Return Grandpa.
We had something so special, it didn't even matter that I grew up without a father. Because of you I never noticed I was lacking. I always felt full.

Grateful for your existence while you were here. Still coping. One day at a time.
Until we meet again Big Time..
Ciao. by @brittneycalhoun_

So honored to have been able to do a hair tutorial with natural hair products by @startedfromtheroots , a Nigerian own hair care company! I swear by all of the products, especially the peppermint oil, gel pomade, and Hair food.
