Forgot to share a little ink I got back in May while we were in Cali — both in honor and in memory of my grandmas 🤍

And maybe my favorite part of it all… after years of hoping for one, not long after getting these I finally had the sweetest little hummingbird show up in my yard. She stuck around all summer, and I like to believe it was Grandma Phyllis finding a little way to say hi from Heaven.

Funny how the smallest things can feel like the biggest signs.

Happy birthday to the man who somehow does it all… (somewhat) effortlessly… minus the occasional swearing and yelling into the oblivious.

Cheers to 27.

Thank you for being the kind of person who never hesitates to show up…. for me, for family, and for everyone around you. Whether you’re spending long days in the field, jumping behind a camera with me on weekends, driving me to sessions when I’m not feeling my best, or teaching yourself something new because you want to be better at it, you never do anything halfway.

Watching you balance life as a fifth-generation farmer while somehow making time for everything else is pretty incredible. I’m so proud of the life you’re building and even more grateful that I get to build it with you.

Happy birthday, Seth. Here’s to another year of adventures, laughter, a little less yelling at stubborn equipment… and all the good things ahead. 🤍 I love you!

Five years.

It’s hard to believe.

In 2021, I took the leap and turned Britton Fuglseth Design into a real business. Looking back, I never could’ve imagined where that decision would lead.

Since then, I’ve gone full-time, built my dream studio, traveled with my camera, and had the privilege of photographing hundreds of incredible weddings, seniors, and milestones. But more than anything, I’m grateful for the people behind it all. Every booking, referral, share, and word of encouragement has helped make this dream possible.

So… let’s celebrate!

To thank you for an unforgettable five years, one lucky winner will receive a giveaway package!

The prize includes:
• A 30-minute photo session of your choice
• Spa Village access for TWO at Thermëa Winnipeg
• A $45 food & beverage voucher for each guest
• A curated purse filled with self-care goodies
• A custom Britton Fuglseth Design candle from Ten Acres Candles
• Chocolate-covered espresso beans from Roma Kawa Coffee Roasters

How to enter:
• Like this post
• Follow @brittonfuglsethdesign
• Tag 3 friends in the comments (every additional group of 3 = another entry!)
• Share this post and tag me so I can see it! (If your account is private, send me a screenshot.)

Bonus Entry:
If we’ve ever worked together, leave a Google review about your experience! Whether it was a wedding, senior session, branding session, or studio rental, your review truly helps my small business grow and means more than you know.

The winner will be announced July 29th!

Please beware of scammers: I will never ask you for payment, personal information, or ask you to click a link to claim your prize. The winner will only be announced through my official Britton Fuglseth Design account. Please report any fake accounts pretending to be me.

Thank you for believing in me over the past five years. I truly can’t wait to see what the next five have in store. taken in Britton Fuglseth Design by @brittonmmcgregor

slow sunday co. ☼

this little space was created as a reminder that life is allowed to be slow.

in a world that constantly pushes hustle, productivity, and moving onto the next thing, i wanted to create something that celebrates slowing down — cozy mornings, handmade things, hobbies that make you feel alive again, and making time for creativity just because you love it.

what started as me teaching myself to sew has slowly turned into something that feels really special.

slow sunday co. is a collection of handmade goods inspired by the simple things and the idea that maybe life was never meant to be rushed.

sewn goods for sale + order coming soon!

i’m so happy you’re here ♡

Okay wait… now that I’ve explained Sunday Swap better, I’m EVEN more excited for this. 🥹🌿

I made a little video explaining how it works + sharing what I’m bringing to the very first one…

I’ll be bringing embroidered market bags for everyone to use to carry their swaps home — and hopefully bring back month after month as this becomes a recurring thing. 🧺✨

A reminder that this is completely FREE to join. Just bring 10 homemade, handmade, or homegrown items to swap!

Also:
✨ Lucky By Lex @luckybylexcharms will be there with her charm bar
🥤 Boots and Bubbles Soda Shop @bootsandbubblessodashop will be serving dirty sodas

Boots and Bubbles + Lucky By Lex Charms will be private for attendees from 1–2 PM, then open to the public from 2–4 PM!

To sign up + RSVP:
Use this link here: https://partiful.com/e/865wiCkRqvqsSL2sq8xf?c=wJ5kjceu

📍 Britton Fuglseth Design Studio
115 E 5th St Suite #4

Whatnot Fabric Haul Part 2 because apparently my newest grandma hobby is buying fabric at alarming rates — I’m obsessed with every single one of these.

Who’s interested in some can koozies?! 👀 And more importantly… what’s your favorite fabric from this haul?? by @brittonmmcgregor
