I’ve been pointing down for way too long now. Pavement vision. Rub my gravel eyes now. I really miss the sky. I wanna feel alright

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As a one chap circus, it's easy to get lost sometimes. I've reverted back to a previous master of the song. The low end is everything when you realise it's no longer there. My tail has been chased, we've now got the bass.

Hello! After a rough 8 months of tragic family loss and naturally defaulting to survival mode, I'm dusting off the Sausage Fattener* and the feelings.

My new song 'Don't Look Down' is out on the 23rd of October. It's about carrying the weight of past musical failures and finding some beauty through the rough ✨️

I’ve held onto it since the start of the year along with a bunch of other songs and sounds. The sculpting of DLD meant the song became a grieving companion. It's been a great friend.

*Hardly any Sausage Fattener used. But it tickled me again to say it...

4 years of marriage @tiny_g_89 !

The layers of love between us and everyone in our lives is what keeps us going. To people who we've lost, to old friends and new, the years fly by because of the amount of love and energy that we all share. It's quite magical actually, and George you're pretty damn magical too ♡

I love you Eann

Too close to the core. 6 months without this amazing human. You were so much more than just a brother-in-law.

Everything is different forever, but that beautiful and friendly, kid-like energy will live on.

I love you, Andy boy. ♡ by @brixmusicuk

Woo! 4 months of HEAVY HEAD FEELING music 💧⚡️

I was always going to write some words to reflect. Open book mode & heart on sleeve and all 🖊

After losing loads of music in my 20s due to stolen and failed macbooks, a similar but more poppier electronic project almost happened 13 years ago. But then life got in the way, as it blydi well does. Then time spent doing BRIX, Soundboy, Timbali, Dub Party, some random jams, DJing, another failed band, and Zefur Wolves, before another haulted project in 'Bitter Heads' as the world changed around 5 years ago (with a good few years of not doing music at all thrown into that mix). After recently shifting from a grungy rock band to HHF, it's now a fulfilling relief to be able to get these new creative feelings out into the world 🤗

We're in that time where age is just a number and I have so many talented friends. If I can push this thing on passion alone (after loads of bumps) I hope you can also use those muscles to do something special. Everyone has magic inside ✨️

Thanks to the HEAVY HEAD FAMILY for listening and showing love over the first 4 months. 1st EP dropping sometime soon (I think). The next two EPs and more already written. Got some big electronic bops and emotional rocks in the works too. Who knows...we might even release those 'Bitter Heads' tunes.

Feeling good about music, life, love, and guinness.

Heavy Merry Christmas all 🎄 x

Here it is! The second offering 💫

Shame On You 👉

If anyone pushes you to breaking point, or questions what you stand for. Stand up, speak up, and don't be scared to step away and make a change. Life is short and bad vibes should be too. Standing up for something powerful is better than not standing up for anything at all.

-

Optional listening experience:
Park up in a supermarket car park (or similar), leave the engine running (not for too long coz of planet), control the breath, turn the knob, and close those tired eyes. That's how I like this one. Ideally in a 2011 LWB Transit Connect on a cold wet night.

Any other listening ideas let me know!

Now out on all streaming platforms.

Can't Live Like This (verse video snippet)

First song. First video. Fisher Price.

Life can be pretty hectic and phones are pretty potent. Scrolling isn't caring, but human connection is.
