Hello! After a rough 8 months of tragic family loss and naturally defaulting to survival mode, I'm dusting off the Sausage Fattener* and the feelings.

My new song 'Don't Look Down' is out on the 23rd of October. It's about carrying the weight of past musical failures and finding some beauty through the rough ✨️

I’ve held onto it since the start of the year along with a bunch of other songs and sounds. The sculpting of DLD meant the song became a grieving companion. It's been a great friend.

*Hardly any Sausage Fattener used. But it tickled me again to say it...

Another incredible ATG.

Pretty much every band I saw was class, but highlights include Cardiacs, Napalm Death, Din of Celestial Birds, Heck, Perturbator, Oathbreaker, and Cult of Luna & Julie Christmas.

So much fun was had hanging out with a lovely group of people, bumping into mates old and new from various bands and generally enjoying the immaculate vibes.

Farewell to Fernhill Farm. I've made so many memories and friends at that place over the years so here's to many more at the new site.

OH MY WORD Amber & Jamie got married !!!
Part one of many to come of Amber & Jamie’s most EPIC, love filled, fun and colourful festival wedding on Saturday 🤩🙌🏻🩷🩷 …I’m still absolutely buzzing!

I literally cannot put it into words how incredible every single second was, not only with them but for them! They were surrounded by so many amazing friends and family from all over and loved so deeply by each and every one 🫶🏻🥰

I found this so hard to even begin to choose from the tiny pocket of photos I couldn’t wait to edit and send them

…so I’m going to share their day with you in parts! 🤗

So here’s where the real magic began and a glimpse into the best freakin day ever!

Thank you both from the bottom of my heart @amberbence @dubby_dog 💜💜 You are both freakin legends and I cannot wait to show you the rest ✌🏻🪩

This thing was supposed to be a little bonus track on the first EP, but since finishing it I go through phases of being addicted to it - listening to it like 10 times in a row. Plus it kinda felt Christmassy/Loved up/Cute 🤮

Not so much a song, but more of a voice note style reminder. When you look at love as a currency, you realise where you should spend it (especially after a few failed transactions). There isn't a limit to it as such, but giving it to those that are there for you is the reward. The love connections are what keep us going.

Fack! I'm going soft...

Lyrics
What have you done?
What are you doing?
You've lost it all
There's nothing left here
Head's on the floor
Footprints close to mind
The shoe didn't fit
At least it kicked me back to life a bit

All you need are the ones there next to you
The hateful ones can’t even see
All you breathe and deal will get you far in life
Keep believing
Love will set you free

Here it is! The second offering 💫

Shame On You 👉

If anyone pushes you to breaking point, or questions what you stand for. Stand up, speak up, and don't be scared to step away and make a change. Life is short and bad vibes should be too. Standing up for something powerful is better than not standing up for anything at all.

Optional listening experience:
Park up in a supermarket car park (or similar), leave the engine running (not for too long coz of planet), control the breath, turn the knob, and close those tired eyes. That's how I like this one. Ideally in a 2011 LWB Transit Connect on a cold wet night.

Any other listening ideas let me know!

Now out on all streaming platforms.
