Harvest is underway in Austria’s Traisental!

At @huber.wine the 2026 vintage is coming in from the vineyards – Grüner Veltliner glowing gold in the late-summer sun, Pinot Noir at full color, and the first fruit already making its way into the cellar.

For Markus, harvest is the culmination of a year spent working with precision in the vineyard, with the goal of translating Traisental’s limestone, loess and individual sites into the glass. The Huber family has roots here stretching back more than 220 years, and today Markus carries that legacy forward as the family’s tenth-generation winemaker. by @broadbentselections
