🥦 🥦 We're coming back in style this Friday!

Brokoli (Martin Yankov) has been an influential force in the Bulgarian electronic underground since 2003. As one of the co-founders of Remurder crew and the driving force behind the independent boutique label Mozyk.net (est. 2012), he has played a crucial role in cultivating a space for experimental music. His sets are are often defined by multi-genred textures, endless transitions, moving through breakcore, glitch, IDM, braindance, and other adventurous forms of electronics with a constantly evolving narrative flow.

Mozyk.net, which primarily releases music on cassette tapes, has grown into a respected platform for innovative artists in IDM and experimental electronics, remaining true to its DIY ethos while resonating with an international audience. With both his own performances and his work through the label, brokoli continues to expand the horizons of the underground scene.

Join us 19h to 22h!

"So..I decided to take my work back underground, to stop it from falling into the wrong hands."

Haven't posted for a while anything from my collection. Today marks exactly six years since Keith Flint left us and this summer is "The Music For The Jilted Generation"s 31st anniversary. This is a really important album for the band as they shifted from the more generic oldschool rave sound towards more genre-blending mish mash of heavier breakbeats, industrial guitars even! Aaaand much more complexly processed synths. Some of the tracks now feature official vocals by Maxim and Flint while Experience was mainly sampled. A milestone for alternative and heavy dance music. Kinda paved the way for the future of bigbeat too? What's your favourite track from the whole 78 minutes trip? Prodigy Music for the jilted generation vinyl cover by @brokoloid

Chaque jour,chaque heure
M'avancer vers cette falaise
Et vers ce grand trou sans fond
Je me retourne souvent
Et j'aperçois
Tres loin
Le brouillard de ma naissance
Je suis le nomade
Qui marche la nuit
Et qui attend le jour
Et l'oubli...

Venetian Snares - Songs About My Cats. Released on Planet Mu records, 2001. The album is blending breakcore and glitch and features a collection of tracks that are often characterized by complex and intricate rhythms, distorted beats, and a juxtaposition of playful melodies with chaotic elements. The album's title reflects the artist's personal connection to his cats, and some of the song titles also reference feline themes. One of the tracks ( Cleaning Each Other ) features a sample from a Meow Mix cat food TV commercial, originally written by @shelly.palmer

Datach'i - The Elements (2005) a collaborative release between #sublightrecords from Canada and #suburbantrash from Germany. Criminally underrated and for some reason really affordable on #Discogs Stellar breakcore ahead of its time. One of my earliest influences and top favourite albums. Not a single weak track on this one. Give special attention to Labyra, Musket Iron, Atac to name a few. Joseph rereleased it in 2016 with some extra tracks.
