How good is it to get in the forest and spot some wildlife? 🐦

We recently spent a day at the Border Ranges National Park and it was so beautiful! The birds almost came to us which doesn’t happen often, especially when we have our wildlife lens. 📸

One of the things we loved on the road and now back home is any cleaning product that comes in sheet form haha! The @lucentglobe sheets have no harsh chemicals, are compact (great for small spaces) and have plastic-free packaging which is hard to find, especially when it comes to dishwashing or laundry detergent. by @brookandjulius

One of our favourite things to do in Tassie is hit the trails in Derby! 🚲

Next time you’re in Tassie and looking for a bit of an adventure, put Derby on your list. If you’re not carrying bikes like we did, there are many places in town you can hire them. There’s also trails for all abilities but it’s just an all around good vibe there!

You can spend a day riding, then head to the floating sauna or jump in the creek in the afternoon and finish off the day eating Pizza at The Hub 😍

Returning to the east coast of Tassie earlier this year was a huge highlight of the trip. We visited our old favourites such as Bay of Fires and Freycinet plus discovered some new!

BRUNY ISLAND 🏝️

Here are some snaps from our time at Bruny! We didn’t have perfect weather the whole time but we certainly made the most of it. So stoked to see an albino wallaby.

Some of our favourite spots was:

• The Neck/Truganini Lookout (including The Neck campground) ⛺️
• Adventure Bay / Fluted Cape Walk
• Bruny Baker Bread Fridge 🍞
• Jetty Beach (the campground is good but not a lot of flat spots)
• Dennes Point

The pros of a dual sliding door and a coffee machine!

Blown away by the stunning views at Bruny Island. This special spot is down at Dennes Point - we thought it was the perfect spot for a mid morning coffee (and tea in Brooks case).

Cockle Creek, TAS 🌊

Down in the south of Tassie you’ll find a relatively average dirt road that leads you to a beautiful bay with plenty of free camping spots. We happed to get a spot right across the road with ocean views and we were stoked!

We did Snake Hill to Ronny Creek, Ronny Creek to Marion’s lookout finishing at Dove Lake and also Enchanted walk (not in these photos). Really enjoyed all of these walks and the views we got!
