POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Today I woke up, snapped a big zucchini off the vine, and SCREAMED as I opened my email bc my first ever interview !!! was waiting in my inbox from @poetrydaily365

Thank you @elenamacdonald for being a fantastic interviewer (I forgot I was being recorded multiple times as the interview shows via comfortability) and for constantly supporting my poetry + the DEBAUCH reign ❤️

And thank you @poetrydaily365 (!! Again so insane!!) for featuring the interview + the poem that started this entire project 🌾

You can read the full interview @ poems.com or click the link in my bio, yk yk taken in Missouri by @brookespalding

My chapbook, DEBAUCH, is now available for your indulgence 🥣🪽💓 pls come and get mad w me in a vast field of Missouri-esque poetry—it’ll be fun—I PROMISE 💀 check the link to get ur copy

Thank you forever to @bottlecappress for making this very long very naive very insane part of my writing career a physical reality. I have dreamed of having a collection published for as long as I started claiming the very deranged but very sincere title “poet.”

Still beaming/gooping/glowing after our DEBAUCH BABY show 🔫🚬🌾🧈🐴

I fing love poetry. It is strange and forever anew and hated and beloved and EVERYWHERE. The older I get, the more I find poetics/poetry is just the feeling of momentum—of words, of senses, of time !!

It felt so momentous to have a night with some of the greatest poets I know @maddy_hanley_ @maryjsauer @localwholemilk @_lukeford_ 💛

Thanks to @fictioncubed for taking pictures, @straycatfilmcenter for hosting, @cartergroves for being on the mic, and @hollynovvak for making broadsides. THANK YOU Kansas City for coming to support Maddy and me ❤️

Until next #DEBAUCH taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @brookespalding
