I’ve supported more than 1500 people with Misophonia...

And the majority of them through free resources.

The actual number is higher and difficult to know for sure, because this number only includes those on an email list. It doesn’t include podcast listeners, social media viewers, YouTube subscribers, etc.

If you told a 9-year-old me that my greatest suffering would eventually become my life’s purpose, I absolutely would have laughed in your face.

When I offered to help people, after getting relief for myself, I did not imagine building a community so wonderful.

I take this work so seriously and give it my heart and soul. Hearing that someone’s life is even just a little bit easier because of resources I’ve shared, brings me indescribable amounts of joy.

Even though I suffered for YEARS, I am deeply grateful my pain is being transmuted into something good.

Thank you for trusting me to support you. 🧡

👂If you have noise sensitivity, then stop scrolling and watch my free training: Recover From Misophonia Triggers Faster.

And if you’re still skeptical, if you’re thinking, “There is no cure. Nothing can help. This is just who I am.” I get it.

I lived in that void for a very long time.

But here’s the truth: nothing changes if nothing changes. If you decide that there’s no cure and you’re stuck with noise sensitivity for the rest of your life, then you will be. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.

But if you can, for even just a moment, open your mind to the possibility that SOMETHING can help…then that can be the moment that changes your life forever. In fact, I have a tattoo symbolizing this very moment I had for myself.

The lightbulb moment where I realized that it’s not the sounds causing me pain, or even the people MAKING the sounds. It’s the way MY MIND was interpreting the sounds that was causing me pain. 💡

And believe it or not, we have the power to SHIFT the meaning our minds attach to these sounds, so you’re naturally less bothered by them. That’s what I help you do inside this training.

My Misophonia is now NINETY PERCENT cleared and I no longer feel trapped by the noises all around me. I have relief. My clients have relief. AND YOU CAN DO IT TOO.

So enjoy this free training and thank you for trusting me to support you!

Fun fact: tattoos hurt 😅

The pain was worth it though, because now I have this beautiful representation of my Misophonia journey permanently on my shoulder.

(Did I mention it hurt? 😭)

The lightbulb represents my a-ha moment of “oh, it’s not the sounds that are causing me pain. It’s the way my mind is PROCESSING the sounds.”

And the flowers are the amazing growth I’ve experienced from that lightbulb moment.

Oh, and the nonbinary color palette because duh.

The fact that my 20+ years of suffering from Misophonia now allows me to support other people in lessening their suffering,

Is a really beautiful thing 🌻

Things don’t have to be easy all the time or obstacle-free in order for life to be sweet 🖤

(Yes, there are layers of privilege to this, and also…)

Penelope doesn’t make things easier for me. In fact, my life is incredibly more complicated. I have to say NO to many opportunities, don’t get enough sleep and feel isolated some days as a SAHM.

However, my life is immeasurably better & so much more exciting and worth living than before.

This is NOT an ad to have children, FYI.

Rather an invitation to embrace the challenges we face (whatever they might be) as obstacles for growth that can help us expand into a more enriching existence. 🖤

Healing from Misophonia is very different than getting relief from Misophonia in my book.

(Although admittedly, sometimes I use these words interchangeably, please forgive me.)

Healing from Misophonia = processing the lifetime of guilt, shame, anger, resentment, etc. that has imprinted on your heart.

Relief from Misophonia = no longer triggered (or as triggered) by noises.

I want both for my clients and surprisingly, healing is usually trickier than relief.

Misophonia is much deeper than a debilitating noise sensitivity. It has layers. It often feels like a loss of control and intentional harm from others. So all of these emotions build up over time, creating an impenetrable yet easily activated force.

So if you want to get rid of Misophonia—be prepared to do some uncomfortable work. It doesn’t have to be the worst, most painful thing ever...but change means stretching yourself just beyond the edge.

It means getting really real with yourself, with others, and taking accountability for the work ahead.

I’m not suggesting you have to do it alone though. That’s why I’m here 🥺

I have a library of free resources, an amazing self-paced program and offer 1:1 support. (My capacity for 1:1 support is extremely limited, and for this I apologize, but it’s why I make the self-paced program as kickass as I can.)

Relief & Healing both are absolutely possible 🖤

Most of my clients also regularly work with therapists.

Which is FANTASTIC, because I am not a licensed mental health professional. I am a practitioner of specific modalities.

These two are very different things and important distinctions.

While I’ve spent a lot of time understanding and working with the unconscious mind, there is also a lot of training and skills I do not possess.

I give my ALL when working with clients and also recognize my limitations.

If you’re seeking support in the coaching space, know that the coaching industry isn’t regulated. Anyone can show up as a coach.

And not all of these coaches will recognize their limitations and encourage you to seek professional support.

It’s frustrating that we can’t simply trust what people say. It’s frustrating that we have to do so much research. It’s frustrating that we have to get burned in order to learn.

And also, intentional self-development work with people who do possess the skills needed to support you is SO beneficial.

If you suffer from Misophonia, explore your options. I know some therapists don’t take it seriously or have never heard of it. That’s changing.

Let’s keep raising awareness and keep working toward relief.

YOU CAN DO THIS. ❤️
