For @yolojournal - a family-friendly road trip of the Golden State. It includes urban gems and backroad discoveries, including California’s best burger (it ain’t In-N-Out), a winning swim club along the Russian River, an idyllic apple farm stay, and much more.

@yolandaedwards was one of the first people to give my writing a shot; over a decade ago I wrote about life as a single dad for her parenting blog, Momfilter. She gave me opportunities to write for Martha Stewart Living, Condé Nast Traveler; she and @wordmover and the entire team at @yolojournal continue to offer unbeatable recon for any travel enthusiast. by @brooksreitz

I’ve teamed up with @ianpartisan and @roughhousepictures to bring you an evening with @thomasdollbaum — his new album, Birds of Paradise, has been in heavy rotation at the house.

Join us Friday, October 16th for an evening @hedhistudio with burgers from @dertburger, beers for purchase, and the first 50 guests get a free Margarita from @dongatotequila and @jackrudycocktailco . @punch_runners will be manning the bar, and this will be a very good time, and hopefully the first of many intimate (and not-so-intimate) shows we are working to bring to Charleston.

A massive special thanks to our hotel partner @thedewberrycharleston - the best hotels get behind art and culture and they get it!

Over the summer we started thinking about advertising for @e.m.reitz . In the rush to get in front of people on their devices, brands are missing some of the more old school advertising opportunities under their noses. We decided to start advertising in small, regional publications we admire. Our first print ad is now running in @provincetownindependent - a great paper that serves P’town and the small towns of Cape Cod. We had some fun with the tongue-in-cheek tagline: “Humble Shirtmakers of Great Renown.” by @brooksreitz

Mark your calendars and join us on Wednesdays from 3:30-7PM

We couldn’t think of a better way to do your grocery shopping than with CHS grown produce, local bakers and cheesemakers, meats, honey, flowers and more! Check everything off the list @hamptonparkfarmersmarket and then post up with @basickitchen at the Rose Pavilion for sunset beer and wine in the park!

Expect a few new faces and all the ones you got to know over the summer :) Follow along for updates and more details to come! Thank you @zthompii for capturing the market so beautifully! by @brooksreitz
