This one is based on the @brothercycles Stroma, a steel all-road frame.

For the new colourway, they took inspiration from some old film packaging, so I immediately thought it would be cool to shoot the bike on film!

A bike made for everyday riding, all year round. A build made to last, one that I’ll keep for a long time.

Huge thanks to @ena.bags.custom , @dtswiss and @ultradynamico for being part of the project.

All the pictures were developed and scanned by @morifilmlab in Brussels.

La Brother Mehteh de David... rodando por Salamanca.
Durante semanas fijamos los jueves por la mañana para "charlar" sobre la bicicleta y el montaje... pero terminamos hablando más sobre cualquier otra cosa que sobre la bicicleta. En un primer momento David tenía muchas dudas... estamos hablando de alguien que lleva viajando con una Kona Lava Dome de 26" rígida 30 años, y que se ha comprado 3 bicicletas en su vida. Ponerte a hablar con un fulano de Bilbao al que no conoces de nada, y en el que vas a depositar tu confianza y un buen número de euros no es fácil, pero lo hemos conseguido... otra vez ;)

This is the whip that I took camping ⛺️ @brothercycles Big’Un ride a few weeks back.

Naturally…an opportunity to try something new, and tell the tale..
It’s a 29er..my first!
Built it up last minute as always..thankfully the bros were kind enough to send one pronto..
+ @thetravellingmechanic magic ✨
and bim bum bam 💥 a bike was spawned!

Being so new tho, I needed to spoil it some to make it not so box fresh…Lets sticker bomb it with some of my fav names!
We got @crumbworks.co we got @stayercycles we got @bespoked.cc we got @bluelug we got @stridsland_journal and many more…

My thoughts:
If we’re chatting performance, this has got to be the best off-road biking experience to date. Sure, some suspension can be a good idea for really technical rocky riding..but the Kent route wasn’t that tricky. Think brother in the wild had harder terrain…
The 29er 2.4 Continental Dubnital were plush enough run on a low pressure to give me all the suspension I needed…
Other than my cargo, this is now the longest wheelbase bike in the arsenal…and I could really feel the difference in stability when descending down a slope like a horned goat!
I had complete and utter trust in the machine…and I survived, despite my greatest attempt to put existence in jeopardy.
Another first was the the dropper seatpost (which I chemically 👨🏽‍🔬 turned silver with drain cleaner solution)…I’ve yet to really master the art of dropper “seatposting”, but it was fun just tweaking riding positions willy nilly whenever I felt like it.
What else…uuuh yea, I freaking aced the stem bar combo. The 90 length Nitto UI whatever whatever stem paired to a set of @stoogecycles bars (suspended by a couple of neat @magiccomponents bronze spacers) was just the ideal distance to sweep ratio…not to mention the old man steeze on the @ergonbike grips! Don’t tell anyone but I’m a convert.

What else. 12 gears! Yup, there were a few climbs where I was on that last cog for a good while…that stays.

I may try front sussin’ it…and maybe upgrade the brakes to XT or even XTR, but other than that..it was perfect.
But i can also see it as a london cruiser!

Till Anders har vi just nu byggt en riktigt mångsidig Brother Pinecone, anpassad efter hans önskemål om både färg, känsla och användning ombord.

Utrustningen består bland annat av:
• 1x11 Shimano CUES
• Velo Orange cockpit
• Brooks C17 sadel
• Styrlinda från Grepp
• Panaracer GravelKing 2026 – 700x45

Resultatet är en cykel som är lika hemma på vardagens små ärenden som på grusvägen eller en kort tur med familjen. En praktisk, bekväm och personlig cykel byggd för att användas

The Brother Cycles Kepler is a banger of a ‘all road’ light tourer, gravel explorer and just all round get the job done kind of bike

This years Green is just a classic.

Pair it up with some Halo dynamo wheels and a Shimano GRX groupset and you’re set for some happy times. These 45mm Teravail tyres suit it just nice.

Oh Big’Un…miss ya already.
Bit from the camp, a bit from out and about.
What a lovely weekend out in Kent.
It’s such a needed restbite from the city bustle and there’s no better way to hang out with the troops: thru the elation of hardship riding.
Over the saddle and under the stars..
We shall be back next year @brothercycles
And on that note…oh yes, I’m loving the big bro. Couldn’t have had a better bike on me x
So much so I bagged me self another (purple)
