POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Ten years ago today, I took a chance on a dream I couldn’t fully see.

I didn’t have it all figured out. I didn’t know where God would take me. I just knew I had to take the next step.

Ten years later, I don’t just celebrate a business.

I celebrate God’s faithfulness.

He was faithful when there was one client.
He was faithful when no one knew my name.
He was faithful in the waiting.
He was faithful in the growth.
He was faithful through the heartbreak.
He was faithful through the pruning.
He was faithful through every closed door that made room for the right one.

This journey has never just been about brows.

It’s been about becoming.

Becoming the woman He called me to be.
Becoming the leader He was preparing in private.
Becoming someone who understands that obedience is often quiet long before it’s ever visible.

If these ten years have taught me anything, it’s this:

God doesn’t need you to know the entire plan.
He just asks for your next “yes.”

Everything you see today was once a prayer, a risk, and a decision to keep going when no one was watching.

So today, I celebrate ten years of Maven Esthetics, but even more than that, I celebrate a God who has never failed me.

To everyone who has trusted me, supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, or simply watched from afar, thank you. You’ve been part of this story.

Here’s to ten years of faithfulness.

And to whatever God has planned next.

All glory belongs to Him. taken in MAVEN Esthetics by @browmaven

Even in darkness, God’s light shines through. Thank you @cancerwellmag for allowing my light, a little piece of God’s plan to shine in your April issue. Purchase it and then go back home! #blacklivesmatter #browmaven #thebrowmaven #mavenesthetics by @browmaven

Sometimes grief isn’t just about what you’ve lost. Sometimes it’s about what never had the opportunity to be.

The relationships that were never fostered. The connections that never had the chance to grow. The love that existed, even from a distance.

I’m learning that two things can be true. You can feel sadness and not feel sad at all. You can grieve for someone else while holding space for the things you wish could have been.

And sometimes, there isn’t a name for that kind of grief.

From me to you, I hope this helps somebody navigating the complexities of family, relationships, and loss.

You’re not alone. 🤍
