Plebbing Up, a new spoken word theatrical work-in-progress (WIP) written and created by me, spoken word artist Curly Wordy (aka Louise Hale)

An unsung lyrical tongue letter to working class hearts and forgotten friendships.

This first share is at duologue stage and the first of my planned scratches to gauge audience feedback for development.

🗓️10th and 11th October 7.30pm
📍Theatre Deli London (nearest stations Liverpool St, Bank and Aldgate)
🎟️ pay what you can (link in bio)

Step into an East End pie and mash shop, part memory, part myth, where steam, stories, and the spirit of friendship and community rise together.

Audiences are immersed in East London and into the hearts of two old friends, burning bridges and building new ones whilst celebrating working class womanhood. From Brick Lane beigels to back-alley wisdom in Tower Hamlets, this is the Hamlet's speaking back.

This performance is part of the SHIFT +SPACE #shiftspace

Audiences can expect raw, rhythmic storytelling followed by a Q&A session with the writer and creative team.

Carnival from the back of the bus in VR360
What a fantastic carnival day! 🎉

Myself and @brucebassuda had an absolute pleasure of being part of the @1dende.nation float. The atmosphere was electric—think vibrant colors, infectious sounds, and an energy that just swept you off your feet. Honestly, you can’t help but feel alive in moments like these!

This experience is shaping up to be one of the best @version_musictv VR360 films yet. You know what? There’s something magical about capturing live events in VR. It’s like stepping into the heart of the action! Filmmaking isn’t just about visuals; it’s about immersing your audience in the experience. With VR, viewers can feel the rhythm of the carnival, hear the laughter, and see the smiles up close.

Carnivals are more than just parades; they’re a celebration of culture and community. They remind us of the power of togetherness and creativity. As filmmakers, we have the unique opportunity to showcase these vibrant moments and tell stories that resonate on a deeper level.

I can’t wait to share the final results with you all. Here’s to capturing the real essence of carnival! taken in Notting Hill Carnival by @brucebasudde
