In a constant world of “look at me, look at me!” I rarely pat myself on the back. Instead I’m always questioning my work, trying to figure out what I could have done to make it better. Anyhow it was nice to see my image published in this beautiful book. The AP Photo Annual 41. And congrats to all my peers who also graced the pages.

AI-AP 41 Winner.
Thanks to the judges for selecting my image to be featured in this years book.

I remember rushing to take this specific image at the @casa_pedregal right before a downpour of rain came in. It was a last minute idea on a third day of shooting at the historic home of architect Luis Barragan. Thanks to @doresandre and @bobby_maxx for being so willing to run with my idea! Thanks to @despertaresmex @chapulo7 @soulartsproductions @gqmexico for the creative canvas to shoot such a rad project.

It was Good Friday. The king of Judea and the romans all aided in the horrible death of Jesus. Little did they know that by killing him would fulfill prophecy and initiate Gods new covenant with humans. That he would resurrect to life and appear to many promising to return. The church age was born.
