I rarely shoot products so I figured why not create a series on my personal camera collection. And yes they all work and I shoot with them all. Some more than others. My favorite of them all is still the hasselblad503. Theres nothing like the experience of composing through a Maxwell custom bright screen and looking through ground glass. No mirrorless anything will ever compare.

i hesitated even posting these images out of the pure understanding that people would be upset. upset because I’m not at home 24/7. upset that I wasn’t wearing a mask. upset that I was out doing “non-essential” things. upset that I’m not keeping my distance. and I know that even if I told you I kept my distance, didn’t touch anything or even come close to other people, some of you would still be upset.

but I am choosing to share this series, because I love the creativity of @brush and myself! I wanted to use this post to honor and THANK those on the front line: doctors, nurses, policemen, firemen, and all of the essential workers who are keeping us alive.
I was already receiving messages before covid19 from people who disapprove of what i do and feel the need to share that disapproval with me. whether it’s about my job. the content I post. the bold decisions ive made in my life. i’ve heard it all. so I know that everyone has an opinion, and I want you to have that opinion. I want to respect YOU for it. please, I encourage us all to remember what is most important right now more than ever : and that is to love one another. 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Nike FlyEase

"The legacy of what tap dance means to the African-American culture is the legacy of what jazz music means to African-American culture. ...Tap Dance Kid to me is a celebration of those two having always worked in harmony since the beginning of time—since slavery."
—multi-hyphenate talent @grimeystepz

Tomorrow on The Dance Edit Podcast, Jared Grimes joins to discuss choreographing the @nycitycenter Encores! revival of "The Tap Dance Kid," and how the show's themes speak to our current moment.
