Furniture painter and lover of vintage and antiques. Find me in Cottage Grove Vintage Market in Greenville, SC or Southbound Mule in Easley, SC

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I'm Elizabeth. I love to restore, refinish, or paint vintage furniture and have a booth at Cottage Grove Vintage Market in Greenville, SC. I'm married with 3 nearly launched kiddos, I grew up in the Virginia countryside and you can see a little of that influence in my favorite pieces- anything traditional and timeless, and my personal favorites are antiques, old pine, and equestrian. It's appropriate that I live in Greenville, as you'll frequently see my favorite color represented. 💚 My inspiration comes from my mom, the queen of "we could probably do something with that," who taught me to see the potential and not be afraid to start. Welcome and thanks for following along! by @brush_arbor_collection

Look what was underneath the years of grime? This beautiful antique dresser is from the late 1800s and really showed her age. As I was deep cleaning her to paint, the burled veneer began to reveal itself. Wise Owl Salve brought out its original beauty and now she's all ready to make centuries more memories! #wiseowlpaint #furnituresalve #knappjoints #workingkey #marbletop #antique #burledwood by @brush_arbor_collection

French provincial cane headboard, queen or full size, I believe it’s a Drexel. Includes rails. Beautiful and romantic lines, the focal point for a gorgeous bedroom. #vintage #drexel #frenchprovincial

Perfectly patina’d as is, or our paint shop could also work its magic for you. by @brush_arbor_collection

This one almost stayed at my house, old pine is my favorite and this antique chest is fabulous with its perfect patina, warm finish and bun feet.

Hand cut dovetail joints show its age, probably mid- late 1800s

Two little drawers on top add character and useful storage. These are removable if you want a flat top.

The small top drawers are secured by built in dowels, so to remove them leaves small holes- more charm and character!

Square nails also show its age.

This is hard to capture but hand planed drawer bases round out the amazing details on this beauty. by @brush_arbor_collection

Beautiful mahogany buffet with gorgeous fluting details, lovely veneer on the top drawers, the unique feet rather than full to the ground, and the sweetest acorns on the original brass pulls. With loads of storage space in the deep drawers and side cabinets, it’s ready for your home just in time for the holidays! #vintage #mahogany #hepplewhite #brass #vintagefurniture by @brush_arbor_collection

One stop shop for faux bamboo furniture! This is a beautiful 7 drawer dresser in “Ivory”- a soft white by @wiseowlpaint. Loads of storage and is great for a bedroom or console.

Next stop on the faux bamboo train is this tall gal with beautiful solid brass pulls in “White Birch” by @wiseowlpaint - a lovely soft grayish white.

The shorter cousin to the last lady, this little cutie is in a soft sea salt-like shade called “Meadow Veil” by @legacypaintsco and is from the same set as the longer lower dresser.

If wood is your happy spot, this little bookshelf is ready for your home, it’s surprisingly deep with lots of storage and display space and is a warm, rich brown or could be painted the color of your choice by our fantastic paint department. Which piece would you choose for your home? #fauxbamboo #fauxbamboofurniture #traditionalhome #coastal #cottage by @brush_arbor_collection
