How has it been a week already? I wrote about watching Crystal Palace win the Conference League in Leipzig, togetherness, and the perfect farewell for Oliver Glasner. Memories for a lifetime! Link in bio, Stories, Highlights. taken in Leipzig, Germany by @bryanuf

Heat wave weekend in Cincinnati (Slides 1-12) and Dayton/National Museum of the US Air Force (Slides 13-20), away from Great American Ballpark. The stretch of I-75 between Cincinnati and Dayton is what I call the @danpatrickshow Corridor. by @bryanuf

29/30 - Cincinnati. The statues of the Big Red Machine and historical markers dating to the Reds' 1800s founding, with the Ohio River as a scenic backdrop, made the Great American Ballpark feel like a modern museum of baseball history. Two coneys and baseball would otherwise be a perfect afternoon without the stupid heat wave boiling Cincinnati while I was there. taken in Great American Ballpark by @bryanuf

I observed this country's 250th Fourth of July last week in Boston. The first 10 photos are from the Freedom Trail and Black Heritage Trail. And I was reminded of what this country is capable of when I randomly met a Black UF alum who then laid down roots in San Diego, and listened to the words of the daughter of Taiwanese American immigrants, now leading the city that was the cradle of the Revolution. In between all that, I watched the Philippines' Alex Eala defeat Wimbledon's reigning champion on my phone -- living in that single space between "Filipino American" taken in Boston, Massachusetts by @bryanuf

I hadn’t planned on attending the Del Close Marathon last Sunday until I found out a month ago that @jvthrowbackfriday would be performing. Every time I visited LA between 2016 and 2019, I'd go to UCB on a Friday night to watch JV in the hopes of seeing Rene Gube on stage, because he was the first male Filipino improviser I had heard of. Of course, my trips never lined up when he was scheduled to perform. But JV became one of my favorite improv teams from those outings, which then got me into @holyshitimprov, all star-style shows founded by JV member Casey Feigh as we emerged from the Covid shutdowns. So finally getting to watch Rene perform with JV in New York last week was a sweet way to fulfill a tiny dream I had given up on after the 2020 lockdowns. If you made it all the way here, thanks for reading something that was ultimately about glass top tables. taken in Theater for the New City by @bryanuf
