Catching up on some great dates with @samantha.pl4 . Gammage is one of my favorite theaters to see performances. We had a great time seeing the backstage tour.

I loved seeing the stencil room where the different shows stenciled their work and signed the wall. I have a deeper appreciation for this stage and am excited to see the shows coming up this season. taken in ASU Gammage by @brycechristiansen

@samantha.pl4 made today one of the best birthdays I’ve had in a long, long, time. She wrote the nicest things about our relationship. She bought me some games to play together. And then she proceeded to beat me in all of them 😳.

I take her to Mox thinking it will be a hit for her to see one of my hangouts. When I enter, a staff member walks up, “Bryce! Long time no see, happy birthday!” I’m so confused, Sam made that happen 😆

At the end of the day she made an incredible meal with steak and potatoes.

My birthdays are usually pretty boring and simple, but Sam made it a nonstop treat. I’m so lucky. by @brycechristiansen

@samantha.pl4 and I had a great time putting together a Survivor finale party. We thought of the idea two weeks before we ran it, and the party couldn’t have been more fun.

I wish I could have captured more. Everything was wonderful! From the smoked pork sandwiches to the hand crafted immunity necklace. There was so much I didn’t even show.

But that’s great because I enjoyed being in the moment and getting to spend time with family new and old getting to enjoy a shared interest that brought us all together.

It was a major group effort with Sam’s parents smoking pork for the sandwiches and building the most epic fire challenge stations. Katie making a delicious strawberry almond salad with homemade dressing.

The kids and adults all equally smiled and laughed throughout the event.

Sam really blew all expectations out of the water with the detail, care, and planning down to every minute. She even won the prediction challenge and gave the winnings to second place. She is so giving, thoughtful, and a true champion in my eyes!

We got the first non-blurry photo of Bigfoot at Nemesis Club today.

To celebrate Levi’s birthday, we took Sam’s family to the best escape room I’ve ever done. There’s so much I could say, but I don’t want to ruin any surprises for anyone who hasn’t been there.

I love how Sam is always down to create new memories and try any experience I throw out there.

Her family is just as fun, kind, and happy as her. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning, even if you are devouring 1000 calorie shakes for breakfast afterwards 😆 taken in The Nemesis Club by @brycechristiansen

I got a phone call from an unknown number six months ago when I was flying back from Nashville.

“Is this Bryce Christiansen? Are you the same person who had Leukemia as a kid and made holiday art for the fundraisers 30 years ago?”

“Yes…???”

“Wow I didn’t know how to find you. I work with the PCH Foundation and we are planning our Holiday Card Project this year. A bunch of us pulled out old art that was submitted and we kept gravitating to a bunch of pieces you made. We were wondering if we could get your permission to use your art to make a pack of holiday cards just using your art this year?”

As a kid, my Mom and I would participate in a fun little competition to create holiday art for PCH to sell for fundraising at grocery stores in AZ.

This November I passed up 28 years since my bone marrow transplant.

I never thought some art project I did all those years back, would still be getting use like this.

They sold these at Desert Financial this year.

My mom deserves a lot of credit for coming up with ideas and making the time for us to do this together. by @brycechristiansen

I enlisted my A team of boardgame friends to beat one of the missions I've been losing to recently.

In this mission, we were a team of Nightcrawler, Beast, Magneto, and Black Knight, searching through the basement of the school looking for survivors.

Our mission was to rescue the civilians and then escape through the elevator and defeat zombie versions of Dark Phoenix and Psylock.

We did a good job of figuring out our roles and playing to them. Black Knight was our Zombie Hero killer, able to break through their toughness easily. Magneto was our sniper, taking out enemies from a distance. Nightcrawler was the infiltrator, able to get into tough situations, then BAMF his way out of them. And Beast, he kinda was the comedy relief with how much he whiffed his shots until the end.

We made it out alive, had a few close calls. It was fun to have the gang back together after a few months off.

Thanks, @spookygemz, @game_knightsaz, and @grays_games for always being willing to play my dumb games haha.
