As I’ve gotten older one of the most important things to me is taking the time to enjoy my hobbies and finding friends within them. Our gaming group came together in the most random way - - none of us knew each other but here we are, years later, still playing 😆 we got so damn lucky and that’s not ever lost on me - and it’s crazy to see how our lives have intertwined over the years with our kiddos and SO’s becoming friends, Gray and Tyler turning the hobby into a successful business over at @warped_reality_games , Bryce’s uncanny ability to track down THE funnest games to play - I know it’s often tough finding a group you connect with and that can consistently meet up. I tend to get caught up in the stress of work and the guilt of balancing coworker/wife/mother/friend/business owner life and without a doubt it leaks into my ability to relax and take the time to meet up and game but I am fortunate enough to have friends that patiently welcome me back to the table. Every. Single. Time.

Anyway….. My hope for you is that you’re able to enjoy some solid gaming time with good people this weekend ✨

And eventually I’ll share my thoughts about our experience playing Arcs…… for now all I’m gonna say is it was a crazy, intense absolute shitshow and may possibly be banned from our table for all eternity. Like if it was the last game on the planet…. We wouldn’t play it. We’d just have Gray design something with rocks and sticks and shit and if you know @grays_games you know he’d figure something out and it would be stupid good 😂

Had so much fun this week at game night! I brought my new Marvel Dice Throne and we ended up playing twice because all the characters are so damn fun 🔥🔥🔥

I tried out Black Panther which I really liked and probably would have liked even more if I’d noticed that I had a passive ability 🤦🏼‍♀️ wtf I wasn’t paying attention 😂

Next I tried out Loki who I was definitely all about - - an all time fav character!

We all unanimously agreed that this new set has some incredible characters @dicethrone nailed it once again!

Awesome weekend of gaming! Got to play Foundations of Rome which is so dang good btw - highly highly recommend! @arcanewonders

Tried out Marvel United for the first time and it was really cool! I see why so many folks love this game!

Also played Valor and Villainy and was surprised by how fun this game was! My friends had played before and always talk about how awesome it is and I gotta say it lived up to their hype build 😆 I look forward to playing this more!

Thanks for hosting @brycechristiansen that was so much fun!

Have you played Camel Up before??

Well this game totally caught me by surprise! Last game night was one of those nights where none of us really brought any games because idk we figured somebody else was gonna bring something lol but luckily Ron bought a couple new games while at @rekreation.games and Camel Up was one of them!

We got it out, took us about 20 min to set up and learn - none of us had played it and WHAT it was a huge freaking blast! Betting on which camels you thought were going to win/loose and the randomness of the dice and the ability to alter the race ever so slightly by placing your tiles on the track was so dang fun, we were INVESTED in this game! To this day I’m upset the blue camel didn’t win, even if I did withdraw my support near the end 😆.

This is definitely one of those games that everyone needs to have!

Nemesis game day Saturday at @game_knightsaz house was a success!

We had so much fun, we had a dramatic collaborative effort between two slimed characters who took on each room together while lying and shutting doors on the rest of us 😂 while one of us decided near the end of the game to flip and try to murder everyone, and then Gray and I realized we had each pulled an objective card that targeted each other but apparently we were the ONLY NICE ones and chose to go with our other objective rather than be assholes. Didn’t matter in the end because the ship was overrun with malfunctions, aliens in ever corridor and we all died 😂

As Bryce so eloquently put it, “I’ve never had so much fun watching all my friends die in a game” 😂😂

Wonderland’s War is the entire package folks. It’s gorgeous and plays perfectly! Got to play last night with the group and hot damn we all fell in love!

You’ve got area control, card building/collecting, bag building + randomness like Quacks, quests, battling AND if you’re not in the fight you can bet/wager on who you think will win! It was perfection! We had 4 players - 3 had never played before and I think it took us 2 hours which frankly wasn’t enough because all we wanted to do was play again afterwards 😂

@jamesmatthewhudson it’s gorgeous!! Top game for me this year, I was blown away 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
