Living slowly, or creeping towards it. When wanderlust and stillness pull in opposite directions, hold steadfast to the rope and never let go. Find balance, pause for a while, and eat olives outdoors. I never used to like olives but this year began with determination to change my ways. Most people go to AA meetings, I force upon myself a love of stone fruit.

The front door of our temporary dwelling in the belly of Travestere sits behind a street seller, and his table of wares, who moves to the side each day to let us in. The proprietor of the restaurant next door with its red and white table cloths calls out “ahh my neighbours” every time we return. You can call anywhere home, even for the briefest of moments. by @brymezz
