Another night of writing/sketching. This time with some dual delay lines from my trusty @strymonengineering Timeline. Pedal is 13 years old and still does the thing.

What’s your favorite delay? Let me know in the comments. by @bsausemusic

Learn something new everyday. Maybe I should read manual for all my sample instruments. 😂 by @bsausemusic

Sketching some more rock over here. I swear this SG is the best rock and roll machine there is. Completely stock and just spits out riffs like magic. by @bsausemusic

Night of overdubs on a project with @audiowavmusic

I met Omar on tour years ago and it’s so cool to be working together on music 20 years later. by @bsausemusic

Haven’t posted a reel in a while so thought I’d plug into my long neglected amp and record some slide noodling sour notes and all.

Happy first few weeks of school to all the teachers out there. I hope 26-27 treats you well! by @bsausemusic

A day late, but it was because we were busy enjoying the great outdoors with family.

Happy anniversary to my best friend @sauseheidi !

No other person I would rather do life with. 20 years together and married for 17. Here’s to another decade of adventures and belly laughs. by @bsausemusic

My first ad placement with @poncho_outdoors! Airing several times a day across several networks so keep an eye out. Let me know if you see it in the wild.

Song is “My Way” from my country project @spinreeltohauser featuring @natebotsford

Shout out to @thedrmbeatz for the production assist.

And huge thanks to @farnellnewton and @marmosetmusic for keeping my music out there and working.

And thanks to @syncbeast.studio and @grifwakeman for all the guidance when I was putting this track together. Your encouragement was clutch.

On to the next one! by @bsausemusic

Tracking some guitars for my next Marmoset project. This time a bunch of rock and roll.

Also, looking to play more guitar. If you need guitars on your tracks let me know. Work for hire or splits. I’m down either way. by @bsausemusic

Homebound – Orchestral Folk / SE127

Warm, orchestral folk underscores blending gentle melodies, pastoral textures, and emotive storytelling. Rooted in nature and human connection, these cues evoke family, reflection, and quiet adventure, supporting heartfelt narratives, scenic landscapes, and uplifting journeys with beauty, warmth, and optimism.

Home after another great weekend with friends (old and new) at the OMEA All-State Conference.

This marks the 18th year of attending this gathering and it’s always such a great time of sharing ideas, laughing till our voices are gone, and getting inspired as we continue to do this crazy profession.

Above all, despite all the darkness in this world I am hopeful knowing there are so many gifted people out there devoted to giving kids places to belong in the form of band/orchestra/choir and general music rooms. Go team music!

I didn’t have a chance to take a lot of photos, but here are a few fun moments.

1. Well over a hundred middle school band students from around the state gather for their first rehearsal as the 2026 OMEA Allstate Band.

2.Stuart Welsh conducts a band of music educators as they read through a beautiful chart by @brianbalmages

3 and 4: post banquet shenanigans with my amazing orchestra colleague @krististingle by @bsausemusic
