We often pray for the platform, the opportunity, the influence, or the open door, but God may be more concerned with who we’re becoming before we get there.

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Mark 10:43

Before God prepared Brooke for the stage, He prepared her to serve. 🙌🏽🎤

In this clip, Brooke Brewer shares how God developed her heart as a servant before opening doors for her music career. And that order matters.

Jesus didn’t define greatness by visibility, titles, applause, or influence. He defined greatness through service.

Sometimes the season that feels like it’s delaying your calling is actually developing the character you’ll need to carry it.

Before the platform, serve.
Before the spotlight, serve.
Before the promotion, serve.

Because when God can trust you to serve without being seen, He can prepare you to steward what happens when you are. ✨

Your gift can open doors. Your talent can put you in rooms you never imagined. But nothing can replace your personal relationship with God. 🙏🏽

In this conversation, Brooke Brewer reminds us that staying grounded in any industry starts long before the opportunity, the platform, or the stage. It starts in the private place, knowing God for yourself, hearing His voice, and building a relationship with Him that isn’t dependent on where you’re serving or who’s watching.

Because when your relationship with God is your foundation, you don’t have to lose yourself when the doors start opening.

Your platform may change. Your opportunities may change. But your relationship with God has to remain the priority.

🎤 Can you pursue your calling without compromising your faith?

Brooke Brewer has spent more than 15 years navigating the entertainment industry, lending her gifts to some of the biggest names and stages in music, while remaining grounded in her faith and committed to serving the local church.

In this episode of Truth, Measured, we talk about what it really looks like to be a Christian creative in secular spaces, knowing when to say yes, having the courage to say no, and remembering that your platform never gets to define your identity.

Sometimes God doesn’t call you out of the room. He calls you to be the light in it. ✨
