You know that moment when you go back to your hotel after your first HYROX solo thinking “that was hard but I’m proud of myself”… only to realise you came 2nd? 😭🥈

That was Becky.

This was her SOLO debut.

🔥 Faster than her previous doubles time

And honestly? None of us saw a podium coming.

Not because she wasn’t capable — because she had never actually been given the support to let her body perform at that level before.

When Becky came to me, this wasn’t just about race day fuelling.

We spent weeks working on:
- eating enough around training
- improving her energy day to day
- building consistency around food even when life was busy
- making sure she stopped under-fuelling the sessions that mattered most
- reducing the late-race fade she’d experienced before
- building a race week and race day plan she could actually trust

By race day she wasn’t just fitter.

She was:
- better fuelled
- calmer
- more confident
- and able to back herself

She followed the plan to a T and afterwards sent me:

“I felt strong throughout. I felt well fuelled, didn’t really have a dry mouth, which is usually an issue for me.”

That right there is the stuff that matters.

Because so many women think they need:
- more discipline
- more cardio
- more suffering

When really?

They need to stop trying to run on empty.

And the best part?

She’s already signed up for Sydney 👀

Which means now we’re not starting from scratch.

Now we get to build on a podium.

Ummm….what? Definitely wasn’t expecting this and didn’t even find out until I got back to my hotel. I’ve spent the last 16 weeks (and 16 before that) learning how to be uncomfortable and work through it with the amazing coaching of @lauravaughan_coaching.

I spent the last 10 weeks learning how to eat more in order to be properly fueled with the help of @lvlup.coach.laura. As someone who’s chronically dieted on and off my entire adult life this was a game changer.

Looking forward to leveling up in Sydney with a mixed doubles! LFG 🔥

When I first started training for Hyrox, I HATED the running. I actually thought I might die and I think my first check in with @laurajayne_ I said something to that effect 😂
Just over two months in and it’s my favorite part of training. Quiet, peaceful….time all to myself where no one asks me to do something. My pace has improved and I feel so amazing at the end of each run.
From feeling like I was going to die to feeling so alive, my little sunrise runs are my happy place 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️☀️
