I figured going on year three of business would be the perfect time to introduce myself. 🙃

So, hi! It’s me, Laurel. I’m a Tulsa-based wedding/event/business/whoever-needs-it content creator. 💌

My approach to content creation has always been authenticity. I want my content to reflect how it felt. I want to show the quirks, the fun, the important, and also the small moments in between. There is always a story to be told: the story of someone’s wedding day, their 70th birthday, their business anniversary or grand opening. There’s a cast of characters, there are side plots, there are private moments that want to be kept close. I love it all. I respect it all. I can’t help but take the most human approach.

I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with an insanely talented interior designer as my mom. Watching her curate her shop just so, watching her generosity (sometimes to a fault), watching her transform a space in the blink of an eye—it was, and still is, mesmerizing to me. While I may not have her same gift, I’d like to think I got just a sliver of her creativity. Through her, I learned the beauty in small moments, to find the story that wants to be told, to cull through whatever is happening on a wedding day and focus on the life that is happening around me. It’s that perspective that I take with me to every shoot.

Since I’m introducing myself a few years late, I’ll use this opportunity to thank each of my wonderful couples and clients for trusting me and my vision, the kind and talented vendors I’ve been lucky enough to make great friends with over the years, my perfect partner Bailey, my friends and my family. I didn’t realize when starting this how much love and support would follow for my silly little business. I’m so grateful. 🫶🏼

This setting of this shoot was of course @talorton, and I wanted to make sure to pay tribute to some people in my life that inspire me daily. Whether it’s jewelry that I’m wearing, my clothes, the art, or the decor, there’s a meaning to everything you see. ✨
