🎥 EXCLUSIVE VIDEO WORLD PREMIERE 🎥
BUCK N STUFF “THE BOTTLE LET ME DOWN”

We all know, @bucknstuffband takes not being serious very, very seriously!

And they toss that into the annals of time with their reinvention of “The Bottle Let Me Down” as a searing funky modal jam sesh.

But reimagining whilst honoring country music’s rich legacy is nothing to joke about. That’s why Buck N Stuff takes a tattered, hand-written page from the genre’s greats by playing with songs by Buck’s contemporaries, in this case, Merle Haggard. Merle and Buck Owens, Buck N Stuff’s patron saint, were the heads honcho of the Bakersfield Sound, and Buck N Stuff tosses that into the annals of time and reinvents “The Bottle Let Me Down” as a searing funky modal jam sesh, featuring blistering guitar solos and the stanky Hammond B3 of Tyler Childers’s keys player Mr. Jimmy Matt Rowland.

Since 2016, the power trio of Adam “Ditch” Kurtz , Lemmy “Drummer Guy” Hayes, and Cam Carrus’ hilarious live show has answered the question of what if Tenacious D and Led Zeppelin had a baby that loved Buck Owens?

Now they continue to solve that riddle with the third single off their debut studio album “Buckle Up”, proving in the process that they’re not just a bunch of East Nashville satirists with a cult following — they’re also a vital component of a “New Nashville!

Here are 5️⃣THINGS Buck n Stuff wants you to know about their new video!

1️⃣ The gtr/bass/drums were recorded in one take with no overdubs, and all footage of @ditchkurtz in red sweatshirt is actual video of album recording which Buck N Stuff thinks is cool

2️⃣ The people walking quickly and awkwardly is actually done by speeding up the footage, they are not ant-people

3️⃣ The unhoused person seen occasionally in the video is missing and Buck N Stuff is looking for him (he owes them $7)

4️⃣ Buck N Stuff may or may have not had Covid whilst recording/filming this (they were out of tests so who’s to say)

5️⃣ Merle Haggard’s original version of this song sounds unlike this version, and ladies and gentlemen, that is how you #bucknstuff

Buck N Stuff is feeling very #outlaw to announce that we are officially going cruising on @outlawcruise numero 10! Already known as fairly outlaw outlaws, we can’t think of a better way to solidify our true outlaw reputation by joining the other outlaw people for what should be a joyous and outlaw time on the high outlaw seas!

Buck N Stuff is also pleased to announce we will be the backing band for Sophie Gault and Joshua Ray Walker.

We will perform on every stage on the ship. How outlaw is that? And perhaps elsewhere due to Maritime Law.

See you Outlaws on the sea!

HEY CHATTANOOGA!

DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

Holding my first Campaign Concert, wherein we gather for music, drinks, and I’ll get to tell the people of Chattanooga about my vision and ideas for Tennessee. Then we can discuss and get excited for big change and making Tennessee a state we can be proud of, that is affordable and supportive and leads with compassion.

We’re gonna have Sophie Gault with her full band, and then Buck N Stuff to shred as well.

This is our first FUNraiser! Can we make politics and government fun? New? Inspiring? Engaging? Far-reaching? I think so!

Please help spread the word and see you on Saturday, Nov 8!
