🌚 11'6 2pc 20-40lb Rockfighter MKll. This is the biggest landed on an MK2 so far. Really happy with how the rod performs 💥🎣🎯... and as for the Boof155, I just finished telling @phdlures how this one in exquisite purple is so beat up from me fishing it so hard and two nights later it fooled another 🤌 Couldn’t of scripted it any better 😂 Its caught some fish..🔥🔥 maybe i should hang that one up 🤔

Set out early this morning for a spring time🐊
Visual eat on the glide bait!!
Definitely didn’t look like the usual victim. But had no trouble pulling some string!!
Has anyone seen this before, Not sure what would cause it?

1.4m released this one back to fight another day.
Had such a great weekend camping and fishing with my young bloke. 🎣
So good to finally get out for a throw after a long break — and it couldn’t have started any better.
1.4m off the stones on a hardbody lure, on the 3rd cast 💥 Doesn’t get much better than that.
Good to catchup with Mark PhD cheers brother🤙

GHOSTBUSTER 👻 The lighter option. The same mission. 9’0 2pc 12–25lb Cast 25-100g
It’s been a minute since I’ve built one of these.
Designed specifically for Mulloway on soft plastics. Ghostbuster is all about cast weights, feel and control. A lighter, responsive rod that lets you work plastics properly, cast all day and still have the backbone to handle a serious Jewfish.
Where the Rockfighter brings the heavy artillery, Ghostbuster brings that lightweight feel and finesse thats required when casting soft plastics. #Ghostbuster #mulloway #Jewfish #surfrods taken in NSW, Australia by @buckshot_rods

Growing up I spent many evenings watching my father fish this exact spot, I’d be sitting on the rocks searching for cowrie shells whilst he was out chasing these fish. Over the past 15 years ive given it a fair crack, in that time I’ve donated more lures than most to the cungie covered beds here, I’ve hooked many fish here over those years only to pull hooks or get busted off from the numerous boulders surrounding this hole, after roughly 15 years ive managed to pull it off, landing this beast all whilst my father was watching from the rocks where I grew up watching him, a moment i will never forget. The @buckshot_rods paired with the @phdlures golden mullet made this fight a dream. -136cm- -23.5kg- taken in Yamba, New South Wales by @buckshot_rods
