The Buffalo Wing Coalition is excited to announce our newest partnership with America’s oldest brewery, @yuenglingbeer . Buffalo, NY is known for many things.. but wings and beer just happen to be two of our favorites. If you have that same mindset, keep an eye out for exclusive contests and giveaways this summer as we kick off our Yuengs & Wings program. You’ll find us out continuing to support our local bars and restaurants, enjoying a traditional Yuengling as we wait for our wings, and a Yuengling Flight to wash em down.

Very well cooked, but definitely on the smaller side. We generally like them a little smaller, but these were flirting with that border. Crunchy, crispy, good sauce adhesion. These guys entered the wing game and immediately became a contender in the South Buffalo scene, just remember that Elk is a one way street.

⚠️ Projected Pyramid Ranking: The “everything” wing here is easily a tier 3 wing, the cajun a close tier 4, but the Hot was tier 6 at best. Round em out - Tier 4: “The Players”

Do Northtowners just love grilling wings? Not complaining, but wondering if this plaza has a pit pact. These wings tasted like you were at a Bills tailgate and your buddy who’s been bragging about his homemade everything sauce forever stepped up to the plate and delivered. We tried a few before the drive time to get the full effect, and they delivered.

First time trying wings at a Caribbean Italian American fusion restaurant? Yep… and honestly they were pretty good. Lackawanna’s newest concept Pop In 717 is slinging culture and comfort under the same roof near the corner of Ridge and S Park. They did an incredible job remodeling this place into a cozy & welcoming atmosphere.

Wings were on the larger size, but maintained appropriate levels of crisp. Hot seemed to a standard franks variation and the peach bbq was a refreshing switch up. Visually appealing, wings tasted fresh, and cooked well - not sure if sliced cucumber can substitute celery though…Nothing to re-arrange a pyramid over but overall solid plate of wings from a newly established neighborhood joint.

The calm before the storm, no better spot than @prohibition_2020 to warm up for game day. Overall super solid spread here, and even some holiday fun with some pumpkin spiced wings. (Don’t knock it til you try it)

⚠️ Pyramid Ranking: Tier 3, The Contenders

Good sized wings, very well sauced, could have used a little extra crisp — but Prohibition will continue to hold down a contender spot on the Buffalo Wing Pyramid, even with 23 sauces you’ll still find a solid core 5 worth ordering. (Amendment 21 is a must) It’s hard to find a bad wing at the joints surrounding the stadium, and Prohibtion 2020 is one of the anchors you can count on.
