It’s truly wild babe because it still feels like I married you only a short while ago and here we are 7 years later with two beautiful children and one little one on the way. There’s not a single thing I would change about this life we get to do together. You make every day fun, you know how to make me feel calm in every season, and I love that any time we spend together is intentional. I’ve said it so many times and I will say it so many more, I am so blessed and honored to be your husband. I have from the bottom of my heart LOVED all the time we have spent with each other so far, but I’m even more excited for what God has in store for us in the future. Father’s Day, I’ve been so blessed in my life to have wonderful examples of great men. This Father’s Day looks different than any I have been apart of so far. My Papa passed away this past week and the world and life have just been a bit more heavy since. He held a very special place in my heart, and taught me so many things. Taught me how to fish with my dad of course, how to sit in moments and just enjoy them and each other, but I think more than anything he showed me the importance of being intentional. He was an ultimate family man and loved to just talk for hours and spend time with family doing literally anything. He hated phones, social media, and really anything that seemed to sometimes take away from intentional time spent together. He knew my heart well and left me with a solid foundation built on loving family and loving Jesus before he passed. I will forever miss you and always cherish the time we had together. In a note you wrote I recently read you answered the question what advice would you give to yourself as a young father now, and you said you’d tell him to love his family more every day in every way, so in this next season of life I think that’s exactly what I will do. I will honor you through the life I live now and with the memories I pass on to my children. And to my own father, I hope you know I love you dad. I hope you know the whole time I was just trying to be like you and make you proud of me. You are an inspiration, a wonderful Father, Husband, and SON. So many people are looking down proud of you dad. I love you and this next season will somehow be the best yet! by @buhzzzz

This girl, 36 years old today and somehow more beautiful today than ever before. Jess, you are a light to any room you walk into, you’re intentional and honest, you are never afraid to hide how you feel, and getting to watch you be the most incredible, patient, and loving mama to our little ones is one of the greatest honors and joys of my life. So in this next year be encouraged my love!! For the past six years today, I’ve had the highest honor of getting to call you my wife Jessica Mary. I love you more today than I even did that night at our cabin in Mauston. As you grow with your partner, it becomes more evident with each year that love itself is a choice. Sometimes it’s an easy choice, like on a day where there’s a breeze and you’re having a picnic by a lake or something and your kids are just enjoying one another. Sometimes is a hard choice, like when it’s 10,000 degrees, the kids are screaming, you’re getting irritated with one another, and we feel like we could explode. I choose to love you in every season, I love loving you in every season, and I feel so blessed to get to go through this whole journey of life with you. Jessica Mary, I don’t think I ever really understood what it meant to be captivated by something until the first time I saw you at a fall church picnic almost 7 years ago. I didn’t know then that you would say yes about a year later to be my wife and take on life together, and I didn’t know that soon after that you’d give me my first daughter and our son a couple years after that. I didn’t know about all the sleepless nights we would have to go through, or about the sacrifices that you would make for our family to thrive through the years. I didn’t know any of these things yet, but God did, and now today 2 days after Mother’s Day I feel more honored than each day before to call you my wife and the mother of our little ones. You are a fearless Mama, able to make literally anything fun, you parent and teach our kids with so much grace and love, and we feel so blessed to have you in our lives Jess Mary❤️ by @buhzzzz

This week has been so busy for our family and I’ve just been trying to enjoy every moment. This last Saturday we welcomed Beckham Ryan to the world… He’s everything I’ve prayed for and so much more, and I’m not sure if you ever really feel deserving of such a giant blessing like children, but it is an absolute honor to be your daddy little boy. The love and admiration I already have for my wife @jessbuhs only grows deeper with each of these special times in our life, I’m so happy I get to do all of this with you lovely. Man I woke up this morning pretty tired from having so much fun with this girl the past few days, but even more grateful for the time we’ve had together so far. When you’re married years seem to blend together, your patience is tested more often than not, and you realize how important it is to choose who you spend forever with carefully. Today marks 4 years of being married for us, and while some days might be more challenging than others, she is my calm when everything inside is just crazy, she’s my voice of reason when sometimes things just don’t make sense, and most importantly she’s the one who has my heart and takes such wonderful care of it. This is the guy I have been blessed to call my dad the past almost 27 years now… Most probably don’t know, but my dad grew up without his father, he was killed in a car accident when my dad was 2, and that left him trying to figure out what exactly it meant to be not only a good man but a great father, without the one who was supposed to show him. He struggled, and hurt in some ways I’ll never have to understand, but through it all he found THE father, and proceeded to become on of the greatest examples of what it means to be a wonderful father to us and husband to mom. Dad… You personify strength, you know how to touch people’s hearts, you value discipline and excellence, and above all you love your family and Jesus like crazy. All these things I have watched, as I aspire to have the same blessing in my own life. I love you dad✊🏽 by @buhzzzz

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who made me a daddy. Jessica Mary I am absolutely crazy about you. Getting to be a dad is a complete blessing in itself, but getting to watch you be the best mama to our sweet Charlotte Mary is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received. You are such an incredible teacher, playmate, and protector to our little girl. I love the way that she looks at you with pure happiness and excitement, like she knows just how special you are too. This is my mom. I can’t ever repay or put into words all she’s done for me. I looked through a lot of pictures to find one that I felt described you best lol. My mom loves to have fun, always sees the best in everyone, is a master encourager, and has understood and taken care of my own heart from the very beginning. She helps me to look at situations and people in different ways and shows me how to have grace. I’ve probably had some of my most heated arguments with my mom (and loudest), but always knew I could tell you anything and you’d understand. You somehow knew what was wrong most the time without words even. It is an absolute honor to be your son, you’ve been the absolute gold standard for almost 27 years straight now, and today, like everyday, you should be celebrated. I love you mom. Yesterday was so surreal, just like it was the day Charlotte was born. I woke up this year with a little girl digging her little toes into my back while she lays her head on her Mama fast asleep. I look over at them and sometimes it’s hard to even believe that it’s actually my life and that all this is happening to me.. I feel so blessed to be able to be a husband to the most beautiful woman in the universe and the daddy to the sweetest now 1 year old little girl there ever was. Thank you Jesus for your many blessings, but thanks a little extra for these 2. Happy 1st birthday Punkie, your daddy loves you forever. by @buhzzzz
