Sometimes a 5 min walk to the park turns into walking back to the house to go potty right away, then going back to the park to play more but realizing someone else has to go potty, so just going back to the house instead 🤣

Never been more go-with-the-flow than I am right now in life. Plans don’t always go the way I picture them & it’s taken me MANY years to realize that it’s not a big deal.

Love how life feels a little easier with friends too 🫶 We played, we ate, we jumped, we cried, we screamed, we made a mess, we cleaned it up, we got dirty, we hugged, we danced, we sang.. and it was all so much easier with a sweet friend! Love you & love watching our little babies grow together, @kellslush!! 🤍

I feel like I haven’t felt this relaxed in YEARS 🌴☀️🌊

But the first night we got to our place, I sat in the sand with raindrops sprinkling down, crying because I was missing our sweet babies so much. I knew they were having the best time with their grandma & grandpa + nana & papa, but you know when all you want is 5 minutes of quiet to yourself and then after you get it you kind of miss the chaos? That’s how I was feeling.

I promised Zach that I would try to just relax & enjoy being there with just him and actually soaking in the moments of just us. For the first day it was just an INCREDIBLY weird feeling of having no responsibilities. I literally did not know how to just sit still and not think about my day to day responsibilities of mom life 🤣

So many times throughout the trip, we just were thinking of how much Charlotte and Beckham would LOVE the things we were doing. But after a while, instead of wishing that we brought them.. we realized that now we know all the great spots we’ll take them to next time we get the opportunity!

Spending one on one time with Zach was sooooo needed, so relaxing, so fun. Floating weightless on top of the perfectly crystal clear water that was the most delightful temperature, having uninterrupted conversations, reading the Bible together on the beach. I couldn’t stop saying how absolutely perfect and relaxing it was! So grateful for a husband who understands my heart and my mind.

Also, swipe to the end to see the sweetest boy in the world greeting us at the airport 😭✈️

Every year on our anniversary, we read our vows to each other at 4pm (the time we got married) wherever we are. Today it was on the back porch of our Airbnb while the rain was falling behind us.

It reminded me of our wedding day, seven years ago, when we woke up to an absolute thunderstorm and had our entire dream outdoor wedding in the woods that we thought might have to move indoors. But God was working it all out for us (as He ALWAYS does) and we stood there on our wedding day with the most beautiful sun shining through the trees, having the absolute best day ever. I’ll never forget it & I’ll never forget our vows to each other. Those are the most special.

Today we celebrated with some orange rolls & fizz, a day at a beach that felt so private and gorgeous, an absolutely DELICIOUS dinner, and a trip to the Crocs store to get some new shoes for Beckham who seems to keep losing his. Side note: Why in the world are the Crocs 25% off but we still had an outrageous total for two pairs of the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen? 🤷‍♀️ They better still be wearing these things when they’re 45 years old. Anyway..

Happy Anniversary, my love! I’ve had the most amazing & beautiful little getaway with you.

Kind of want to cry that we don’t have the same last name anymore, but Bella Isbell sounds too cool to be upset 🤣 Love my gorgeous little sister so so much!!!
