WORLD SPINE DAY | 16 OCTOBER

Today marks World Spine Day, a global initiative raising awareness of spinal health, spinal conditions and the impact they can have on people’s everyday lives.

For Buildcare, it’s a timely reminder of the importance of creating better outcomes for people living with spinal disability - through greater accessibility, independence and continued support for research.

It’s a cause that sits closely alongside the work we’re doing through Project One and our broader commitment to the spinal cord injury community. by @buildcare_aus

World-renowned big wave surfer and award-winning keynote speaker @markmathewssurf has spent more than 20 years pushing the limits in some of the world's most challenging surf conditions.

Mark’s story extends far beyond surfing. After navigating serious setbacks and recovery throughout his career, he now brings that experience and passion to Buildcare as one of our newest Ambassadors, supporting Project One and the work ahead.

Buildcare is proud to be the Supporting Partner of the inaugural Brokenwood Corporate Golf Day, taking place on Friday, 30 October at The Vintage Golf Club, Pokolbin.

Australian Winter Olympic gold medallist, @cooper_woodss Cooper won moguls gold at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, upsetting Canadian legend Mikael Kingsbury on the way to the podium.

Hailing from the NSW South Coast, Cooper shares a
genuine connection with our co-founder Jason, and first came on board with Buildcare after being invited to our 2026 Charity Lunch. Once he experienced the energy in the room, he
knew he wanted to get involved as an Ambassador.

Over the past 12 days, @scotty_hingston has pushed both his mind and body to the absolute limit, all in support of people living with Spinal Cord Injuries.

Together, you've raised an incredible $33,000.
