What's happening behind the hoarding at Atlassian Central?

Years of planning, digital engineering and craftsmanship are coming together on site. Members of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) recently joined us to see the progress firsthand.

The tour offered a closer look at the scale and complexity of the project, from the world-leading timber structure rising above Central Station to the teamwork and coordination required to bring this ambitious project to life.

The Built Queensland team went the distance at this year's Bridge to Brisbane, raising $20,871 for Micah Projects and more than doubling their fundraising target.

The funds will support Micah Projects' work helping people access housing, healthcare, employment, connection and advocacy.

As Haydn Masters, Head of Health and Wellbeing at Built, said, "It's a great reflection of the generosity, teamwork and community spirit across the Qld Business Unit."

Thanks to everyone who ran, walked, donated and got behind the cause.

Built has appointed former Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan to its Board.

With an $8.5 billion secured pipeline, we're investing in industrialised construction, advanced manufacturing and product-led delivery to help build more homes and infrastructure across Australia.

As Executive Chairman and Group CEO Marco Rossi said:

Congratulations to our ACT team, with the National Library of Australia project winning the Commercial or Retail Fitout, Refurbishment or Alteration over $10 million category at the 2026 Master Builders ACT Awards.

Delivered within a live, fully operational environment, the project involved a complex heritage-listed façade upgrade at one of Australia's most recognised public buildings.

As Built’s ACT Manager Nathan Bleathman noted, “Delivering work of this standard takes a lot of planning, collaboration, and attention to detail, and it’s great to see that effort recognised by the industry.”
