If you showed me this version of myself two years ago, I wouldn’t have believed you.

You can be disciplined, stay consistent, and work toward your goals without forgetting to enjoy life along the way.

And for me… enjoying life looks like sharing a black sesame croffle with my loved ones. by @builtby.nance

Doing more ab exercises won’t specifically burn the fat on your stomach. Those exercises strengthen and build your abdominal muscles, but fat loss happens throughout your body, not just in the areas you train.

Train with intention. Be patient with the process. And most importantly, progress starts with understanding what actually works. by @builtby.nance

You have to want change more than you want the comfort of staying the same.

No one can want it badly enough for you. No one can put in the work for you. At some point, you have to stop waiting to feel ready and start showing up for the person you want to become.

Nothing changes until you do. by @builtby.nance

What I eat in the morning to set myself up for a successful day. ☀️

Nothing fancy, just a balanced breakfast to fuel my body and start my day with intention. by @builtby.nance

Your physique is a reflection of what you repeatedly do.

None of these choices felt life-changing in the moment, but when you make them over and over again, they become who you are.

Your results don’t come from one big decision. They come from the small decisions you refuse to stop making. by @builtby.nance

I’ve never wanted to share my progress photos on my page because of how vulnerable they make me feel. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned this year, it’s that growth usually lives on the other side of discomfort, so why stop leaning into it now?

When I first started in 2024, I was so uncomfortable with my body that I didn’t even want my coach posting my progress pictures. You can probably tell by what I wore, I wanted to be as covered up as possible.

Somewhere between showing up when I didn’t feel like it and choosing consistency over comfort, I started becoming someone I was proud of.

The biggest change wasn’t learning how to be confident in my body. It was learning how to keep promises to myself.

And eventually, the confidence followed.

Same person. Different habits. Different mindset. New standards.

Social media became so much more fun when I stopped treating it like a place to impress people and started treating it like a place to express myself.

Post what you love. Talk about what you’re passionate about. Document your growth. Be excited about the things that make you you.

You don’t have to make yourself smaller because you’re worried about what someone from high school, an old friend, or a random person scrolling might think.

Because the more I started showing up as myself, the more I started finding people who genuinely connected with me. And that’s been one of the most unexpected and beautiful parts of the journey.

People supporting each other. People sharing their own stories. People I haven’t spoken to in years reaching out.

Your social media is YOUR space for expression.

Don’t be so afraid of being seen that you miss out on being found by the people who were meant to connect with you. by @builtby.nance

If you’re feeling your RDLs in your hamstrings & glutes, that’s a good sign you’re on the right track 👏🏼

I had the hardest time getting these down when I first started, so I hope these tips make it a little easier.
