One degree hotter 🎓 by @builtbymak

Strong bodies are built through understanding, not just pushing harder.
Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women and can influence pain levels, energy, hormones and recovery.
For many women living with endometriosis, training isn’t about doing less - it’s about learning to train differently.
Some days the body feels strong and capable, and other days it needs more recovery and care. Both are part of the process.
Endometriosis Awareness Month is an important reminder that women’s health deserves more understanding, education and support. 💛

I'm so excited and so proud to finally share Built by Mak. 🤍

This has been a long term goal of mine - creating a personal training business built on evidence, education and genuine support.

Built by Mak. focuses on strength, confidence and understanding, all about doing training properly with purpose and care.

I am officially launching on the 19th of January, 2026! If you're interested in training or would like to have a chat, feel free to reach out.

Thank you to all of those who have supported me every step of the way, I owe it to you guys.

Much love,
Mak by @builtbymak

A bittersweet morning at TGF as Mak wrapped up her final day with us! 🧡

Rain, hail or shine, you all showed up and helped us send her off the best way we know how…with one epic Bootcamp session! 🔥💪🏼

But don’t worry, it’s not goodbye completely! You’ll still be seeing Mak’s face every Wednesday and Friday morning for BodyPump. 🙌🏼

We are so incredibly proud of Mak and this exciting next chapter in her career. We’ve loved watching her grow throughout her time at TGF, and we can’t wait to see everything she goes on to achieve.

We’ll miss having you around every day, Mak but you’ll always be part of the TGF family!

What a morning! 🙌🏼 by @builtbymak

Ahhhhh TGF, where do I start?
After almost 3 years, my time at TGF is coming to an end 🥹🤍

It’s so strange trying to put into words what this place has meant to me. I started behind reception, then somehow found myself teaching classes, becoming a PT and building a little business of my own along the way.

TGF has given me so much more than just a job. It’s given me some of my closest friendships, the most amazing clients and members, so many opportunities, and a ridiculous amount of memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

To everyone who has come to one of my classes, trained with me, had a chat with me at reception, supported Built By Mak or simply made my shifts that little bit better - thank you. I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am today without this place and the people in it.

And to those that supported me during my degree and helped me shape be the coach I am today, I will forever be thankful for all that you did!

As sad as I am to be leaving, I’m so excited for what’s next and ready for a new chapter.

Two weeks left - so you’re not getting rid of me just yet. I will continue taking my BodyPump classes on a Wednesday and Friday, so I will still see you around.
Come and find a time to book into these classes for these last two weeks!

Forever grateful for TGF 🫶🏼 by @builtbymak

Sometimes all you need is someone beside you to get you through. 🫶🏼💪🏼

The motivation, the laughs, the extra push when you need it most and that’s what the TGF community is all about.

🚨 MEMBER OF THE MONTH! 🚨

This month our member of the month goes to Jordan. 💪🏼
Jordan trains with Mak weekly and does many of his own sessions following a program created by Mak.

He started with the goal of working on the pain in his lower back and his hip mobility which he is absolutely smashing. 🔥
Now he is moving onto losing fat and maintaining his muscle/growing it. Currently he has already lost 5kgs! And that’s just the start! His strength has improved so incredibly much in the short amount of time he’s been training and he’s built some incredible habits.

This is so well deserved! Congratulations Jordan! 🙌🏼 by @builtbymak

Exercise isn’t a cure for endometriosis but research suggests regular movement, resistance training, adequate sleep, stress management and pelvic floor physiotherapy can help improve pain, fatigue and quality of life for many women. Every body is different, so always work with your healthcare team to find what works for you.
