Want to encourage bigger holiday orders without constantly running discounts? Let's talk about Average Order Value (AOV), the average amount a customer spends each time they place an order. Here are THREE ways handmade businesses can encourage customers to add a little more to their carts this holiday season! 1. CREATE GIFT SETS Bundle complementary products like a candle, soap, and bath bomb into one ready-to-gift package. 2. OFFER SMALL ADD-ONS Think lip balms, mini soaps, wax melts, or travel-sized products that customers can easily add to their purchase. 3. BUILD COORDINATED COLLECTIONS Offer matching scents across compatible products so customers can create their own personalized gift combinations. BONUS TIP: Make gifting easy! Clear product descriptions, attractive packaging, and simple bundle options can help customers shop with confidence. Sometimes increasing sales isn't about finding more customers, it's about making it easier for existing customers to find more products they'll love. #BulkApothecary #SmallBusinessTips #HolidayMarketing #AverageOrderValue #HolidaySales #HandmadeBusiness #GiftSets #CandleBusiness #SoapBusiness #MakerCommunity by @bulkapothecary

MAKERS: Your holiday collection doesn't need 20 different products to be successful. We know how tempting it is. One more fragrance. One more product idea. One more holiday mold. And suddenly your holiday lineup is bigger than you planned. But sometimes a smaller, thoughtfully planned collection is exactly what your business needs. Start with your bestsellers. What do your customers already love? Choose a few seasonal additions. You don't have to reinvent your entire product line. Create coordinating scents. Use complementary fragrance profiles across suitable products. Think gift sets. A few well-paired products can create multiple gifting options. Keep production manageable. Focus on what you can realistically make, package, and deliver. A focused collection can make inventory, marketing, and production easier to manage during your busiest season. Remember: More products don't always mean more sales. Small business owners, how many products are you planning for your holiday collection this year? #BulkApothecary #HolidayBusinessTips #SmallBusinessTips #HolidayCollection #HandmadeBusiness #CandleBusiness #SoapBusiness #MakerCommunity by @bulkapothecary
