That's why sometimes you gotta come through
And just do it at the level that you do it”

Ideas are starting to flow again. Some are building on old ones, others are all together new.

This was the first film project since the spring, the weapons for #mistressofbones. It was a really fun project, incorporating some cnc and 3d printing. It’s on @crypttv YouTube go check it out!

Months ago, a friend contacted me about making something that was not only unique and meaningful, but challenging. Perfect combination 😉 A ring for for her husband, inlaid with wood from the grove of trees in Stanley Park where they were married. It grew in time to include a complimentary pendant for her as well, which she gave me free reign on. Each piece presented a list of things I would need to learn.

These were the results, the “North Shore” set, I guess I could call it. A silver pendant and a titanium band that captures some of the mountains and shoreline. Both are inlaid with the cedar from Stanley Park and crushed turquoise, in resin. The pendant can fit inside of the ring, as the two are part of a whole, mirrors, reflections, all that misty eyed stuff... excuse me there’s saw dust in my eye 😉

No trees were harmed in the making of these pieces, everything used was ground fall.
