I don’t know why it took me so long, but I’ve started making traditional #latvian jewelry. This is a Namejs pendant, made from sterling silver wire. It takes a lot of time and patience to prep and braid the wire, before shaping it into its final form, be it a ring, pendant, bracelet or other adornments. There is an indescribable feeling when working on art that represents part of your personal culture, satisfying doesn’t begin to come close. Pieces are available, just send me a message or checkout my website which will be launching later today.

This piece grew and formed in my mind for almost two years before finally taking physical shape. The beautiful five-sided aquamarine came from @indira_and_isidro. Tab and I saw it there while on vacation in Cabo, we both immediately fell in love with it. I wanted to create something that compliments and accentuates the unique stone, and the relationship it represents. This is my first piece working entirely in gold (14K).

A lot of mistakes, learning, cursing and even some blood were involved in bringing this forth from my imagination. Sterling Silver, 24k gold inlay, blue and yellow sapphires, red garnets, a princess cut diamond, oh and 100+ hours of hand fabrication has resulted in one of the most unique @burningman pendants ever created. Yeah I said it. There will only ever be 11 of these. They are like unicorns. If you see one in the wild, be in f*cking awe.

Haven’t posted much about my creative endeavors lately. Honestly things have been a bit bumpy without film work returning in any real capacity since the strikes ended. I’m still working on getting Burn commissions finished (thanks all for understanding) and I recently started a new gig which has had my main focus for the last couple months. I’ll have more to share about that soon. ❤️🙏🤟

“Buy the ticket, take the ride.”

Here’s a tiny selection of shots from 2022 #burningman

The @burningman Stewards Sale happened last week, and we secured our tickets home. It’s my 11th year, I’m looking forward to some dusty fun, new adventures and seeing a whole bunch of people I love.
