For anyone who’s always stuck in their own mind - #headmaze is a 4 story representation of our complex minds. There are 18 rooms inside the giant maze in a beautiful representation of how much we struggle with our own minds and perception of self.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On one side, the head rests in a peaceful state while the other side the head has been clawed open in frustration.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Built by Matthew Schultz and The Pier Group (same people who built the Pier in 2011, Embrace in 2014, and the Space Whale in 2016). Building 180’s CoFounder @winnersnaps along with our artist residency CoFounder @cory.rae designed a room for Head Maze, swipe to see how it turned out, Dizzy Data is a room filled with dizzying amounts of facts, built at our warehouse at #agapolis 📸 (1) @shananariley (2/3) @thedustyfish (4) @humminglion ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Striking Beauty, by my multi talented friend @thedustyfish
It was Wednesday night pre event in 2013 and the whole playa was surrounded by 360º of lightning. There is always the possibility of dying at @burningman and I've read the back of my ticket, but didn't think much about it, since I was standing next to a tall metal structure, the mind-blowing sculpture Truth& Beauty, by @marcocochrane and his all star crew. I was there, minding my own business, as I usually do, trying to get an iconic shot of it, not knowing that Fish, from distance was photographing it as well.
I only knew about the existence of this picture months after the event, when I saw a print of it hanging in one of the meeting rooms at the BMHQ in San Francisco.
I feel so lucky for not having died at #burningman and also for having my picture taken by such a talented artist. #tbt #truthisbeauty #marcocochrane #bm #bm13 #dustyfish #siderth
