We had the absolute joy of meeting the radiant Alli Bee down at the Mizata Beach Club in El Salvador. 🌴 She’s not only an amazing yoga instructor but also a beautiful soul with the brightest energy. 38 taught me.
39 gets to watch me apply it.
Walking into the final year of my 30s grateful for every lesson, every blessing, every loss, every win, every person who stayed, and even the ones who were only meant to be there for a season.

👑 YOUNG KING ENERGY. 🤠🔥

I met this young man at the rodeo, and I’m telling you… little dude impressed me. His confidence, the way he speaks, his poise, his creativity, his work ethic — you can already see there’s something special being built in him.

Watching him excitedly unbox his custom Burns Brims cowboy hat made this one hit a little different for me.

Growing up without a father, there were certain skills, lessons, and experiences I simply wasn’t lucky enough to have a man there to teach me. So when I see a father present and intentional, teaching his son how to work with his hands, how to carry himself, how to speak with confidence, how to embrace his artistic side, and ultimately how to grow into a man… I notice it. And I respect it. 💯

And I have to give Mom her flowers too. 🌹 Meeting both of his parents, you can see that this young king has a strong foundation behind him. But seeing Dad right there every step of the way, pouring knowledge into his son — that’s legacy being built in real time.

Little man is already something special. If this is who he is this young, I can only imagine the man he’s going to become.

It was an honor to make his crown. 👑🤠

Some unboxings just hit a little different. ❤️🎩

My sister Ashley’s mom—who I’ve pretty much adopted as another mother of mine 😂—has been wanting a Burns Brims for the LONGEST!

So when Ashley finally decided it was time to surprise her with her very own custom crown, I knew this couldn’t be just another delivery. I was coming into town, so I had to hand-deliver this one myself. 👑

The shock… the excitement… the smile when she realized that Burns Brims box was actually FOR HER! 😂❤️ That reaction is exactly why I love what I do.

This wasn’t just a hat unboxing. This was getting the opportunity to create something special for someone who feels like family to me.

There’s nothing like seeing a father feel the love his family put into his gift. ❤️🎩

For Father’s Day, these three beautiful ladies—along with other family members who were part of the surprise—came together to gift Dad his very own Burns Brims. And his reaction said EVERYTHING. The surprise, the smile, the happiness… that’s the part of what I do that never gets old.

But the story didn’t end with the first unboxing.

During all the excitement, something happened to the chain on the hat. So when I came back into town about a week later, I told them I’d take care of it. And since I already had the hat back in my hands… you know the Mad Hatter couldn’t JUST fix the chain. 😂🎩🔥

I repaired it, added a few more trinkets and details, and gave Dad’s crown a little extra Burns Brims treatment.

Then came Unboxing #2—the final reveal. 👑

That’s what makes custom work special to me. It’s not just about selling somebody a hat. It’s about the story attached to it, the people behind it, and making sure when that crown goes back on their head, it feels RIGHT.

From a family’s Father’s Day surprise…
to a quick repair…
to an upgraded one-of-one crown.

Nothing beats seeing that reaction when somebody gets their first Burns Brims! 🔥🎩

While we were out in Boston enjoying the Cancer Bash, my Dominican bro got to have his official Burns Brims Unboxing—and you can tell from the energy he was READY for that crown! 🇩🇴😂🔥

That excitement right there is one of my favorite parts of what I do. I can spend hours creating, shaping, styling, burning, painting, and putting every little detail into a hat—but seeing somebody open that box, put it on, look in the mirror, and immediately start FEELING themselves? 😂 That’s the payoff.

Because Burns Brims isn’t just about selling hats. It’s about creating an experience. Every crown has its own personality, and watching somebody realize, “Yeah… this one is ME,” never gets old.
