Happy birthday bub. One year ago you came into this world and completely changed mine. You’ve given me a kind of love I never knew existed, a purpose bigger than myself, and a reason to work harder every single day. Watching you grow from that tiny newborn into this hilarious, curious, strong willed little boy has been the greatest privilege of my life. Even if you’ve spent most of the year stealing my sleep, my phone and apparently everyone’s attention 😂

And to your beautiful momma. Thank you for carrying him, bringing him safely into this world, and loving and caring for him every day especially during all the hours dad has to be away working. So much of who he is already reflects the strength, patience and love you pour into him. I’ll never be able to thank you enough for giving me my best friend and making us a family.

Suede, no matter how big you get you’ll always be my baby boy. I hope you grow up knowing that your momma and daddy love you more than words could ever explain. Everything I do is for you & mom. I will be there to catch your first baseball, your first day of kindergarten, your first day of high school, and everything in between. Happy first birthday my son. Today marks 2 years since you visited me in Memphis, and the rest is history. 2 years since I asked you to be my girlfriend (and drinking buddy). To think you gave an ordinary guy like me a chance, then blessed me with a family still makes me wonder why it took so long to meet you. The last year has been a rollercoaster but I was able to be steady and see things through because of you. And, now we have a handsome little guy and he is blessed to have a mom who loves him unconditionally. I’m blessed to have you two perfect humans in my life baby. I cant wait to see where life takes us in the next couple years! Im sorry im working today but i will make it up tomorrow 😘😉 I love you more than anything you’ll ever know! Late post. But I was blessed to spend Christmas with my ladies family and it was such a great time. Our son got to meet his two cousins, and meet his great grand parents. Feeling blessed! Thank you for bringing me into your big family baby. And @justyourcupoftay thank you for being a great sister in law and Aunt to Suede. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have that title.
