Thank you to Professor David Karoly for joining us at Burrinja Theatre last Sunday as part of the Burrinja Climate Change Biennale #4.

It was fantastic to see such an engaged audience, with people asking thoughtful questions throughout the presentation and contributing to a lively discussion.

David was incredibly generous with his time and shared his knowledge with clarity and passion, speaking about the vital importance of science communication and making climate science accessible to everyone.

We would also like to thank the Climate Council for their ongoing work to make climate science accessible to all Australians.

🌏 Art. Activism. Adaptation. Hope.

Lucy Wise — Live in the Lyre Room | Still tix available
This Saturday 3 October | 8pm

An unforgettable evening with award-winning songwriter Lucy Wise.

Blending contemporary folk, pop-inflected melodies, intricate guitar work and poetic storytelling, Lucy creates songs that make space for reflection, connection and the everyday moments that shape us.

Originally from South West Australia and now based in Central Victoria, Lucy has spent more than 15 years crafting a distinctive sound that sits somewhere between intimate folk and modern pop.

With five albums and two EPs to her name by late 2026, including her forthcoming album Salt, Lucy draws inspiration from artists including Joni Mitchell, Madison Cunningham, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow and Crowded House.

A celebrated live performer, Lucy has toured Australia, New Zealand, the UK and US, appeared at Woodford, Port Fairy and the National Folk Festival, and was named Solo Artist of the Year at the 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards.
