POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you to all that dropped into see my exhibition ‘Lost Poetry and Infinite Possibilities’ at @burrinja and those that purchased works! This has been an interesting journey stepping back into my own work.

The show itself had layers of emotion through overcoming self-doubt, through going over past works, ideas and thoughts. In the end it formed itself into a release and opening up what has been inside me for sometime.

If you didn’t make it, I’ll be releasing some prints (some on my online store now • link in bio) and will be releasing a book next year. If you would like to purchase any prints, or works let me know or head to my site. There are some links to read more about the show and me as an artist if you want to check it all out too ••••

Would love to know your thoughts on my work too, what prints do you like? Which are your favourites? If you would like to stay up to date on what I’ll be doing, you’re welcome to subscribe to my mailing list as it’s getting hard to push creative work at the moment in the social world! Thanks again to @burrinja @creative_vic @creative.australia for the support!

PACKING ROOM PRIZE!

My entry in the Upwey Archies #14 "Daniella, the sculptor" won packing room prize in the Open category! What a thrill to have won (my first prize!)

"I've chosen to paint Daniella Pia of Flow Caravan Salon. Daniella approaches hair like a sculptor, speaking of it from a fascinating and creative perspective. Her love of hair is infectiously joyful and enthusiastic, and I admire her drive to maintain her career and passion whilst raising her family."

Thank you to all the peope involved in Burrinja and Upwey Community Group and Upwey Archies for choosing my work! And biggest thank you to my beautiful sitter, Daniella!

You can view my painting in the Upwey main Street for the next couple of weeks, before it's exhibited in the Burrinja Gallery. Have a look and don't forget to vote for your favourite!

Yay!

Here I am (very tired) handing in my entry for the 2026 UPWEY ARCHIES!! You can find my piece in the main street of Upwey for the next few weeks, then in @burrinja gallery from mid November. I'm super excited to see all the entries and have been busting to be apart of this for years! Support the local Arts community, its the best! There are a number of awards, one of which is people's choice! So have a look, choose your favourites and cast your votes online! Such fun. Locals: do you know who this lovely lady is? Let me know in the comments!

My poem and photograph that was published within the ‘100daysofactiveresistance’ book by @viviennewestwood X @leejeans @leejeanseurope some moons ago. Invited artists were asked to present work based on the environment and sustainability and how our work can help inspire or bring up ideas of change. Poem still feels relevant today. My solo exhibition ‘Lost Poetry and Infinite Possibilities’ showing now at @burrinja Lyre Room Gallery (Upstairs) till the 18th of October.
