back into the swing of things and looking forward to the next couple of months. we've got the return of the free listening session, a few live ambient journeys, some deep dives into well-worn catalogues, more fundraising, a new somatic attunement series and a late late night or two.

more TBA and more details to follow.

burrow's latinidad is showing again... on october 10 let's climb the proverbial morro 🏞️ together and enjoy the view from above, where we can take in a discography as enigmatic and inspiring as our subject himself—caetano veloso. a man who has defied genres, gender norms, and political regimes to cement himself among the greatest artists of our time... (you don't have to take our word for that but you can take quincy jones's)

from samba to bossa to the abject rejection of tradition in order to form a new musical language, to forays into musique concrete, rock, experimental, and the creation of tropicália and música popular brasileira, we'll take a trip through a bit of it all. but labels don't matter as much as how beautiful it all is, how unequivocally caetano it all sounds.

there will be some introductions interspersed with the music (sorry can't help it love him so much), dialogue is encouraged! sliding scale 🎟️ in 🔗

the time is right for moving together again. we're happy to prepare the set and setting, the sound and the lights. this is a night, as bill withers said, "for dancing".

join us october 17th on a certain wooden dance floor perched above a circle k for an evening of top shelf tunes, a musical journey meant to be enjoyed from nose to tail.

featuring our resident mammals and a very special guest back in town just for the weekend 🪢

our name may be funny (?) but we take this pretty seriously. no line ups announced—if you were there last time you know we're not skimping on talent. the focus is simply on our dancers and listeners... on *you*!

expect all the fun and mischief an evening among friends and fog machines has to offer. tickets start at $15, link's up top.

a few moments from this special season at burrow. so much gratitude for everyone that's joined us so far and shown their support. after all, the whole point is to have a space where we can be together.

burrow won't be around for much longer so here's to making the most of the time we have left! 🤍 by @burrow.snd
